Vitali Klitschko in today's era, where would he be ranked?

Gets beat by Fury and Usyk... probley beats the rest.

 

He’d definitely pick up a few losses. All that arm punching and leaning back wouldn’t work in an era full of other big men. Also, he isn’t beating Usyk. I’ve been saying for years Vitali is one of the most overrated fighters ever.

 

Prime for prime I don't think he can beat Usyk or Fury, he was too stiff. I think he beats AJ, Dubois and Zhang, he had a really tough chin.

 

Lol I was thinking the same thing. I actually thought to myself “Vitali could probably literally do something similar to what Foreman did and fight two or three of these guys in the same event.”

I actually think he’d have a lot of trouble beating Usyk, even at THIS stage of Oleksandr’s career. But he’d most likely defeat Usyk by hard fought UD. IMO H2H Vitali would be Usyk’s hardest fight do to Vitali’s 6’7 long range, granite chin, strength, AWKWARDNESS and underrated cleverness. I actually think Prime Wlad would be 50/50 with Usyk. PRIME Usyk that is. I think that left hand of Usyk’s is underrated in the power department. It’s more than enough to keep Wlad honest and actually enough to hurt Wlad in the later stages of the fight. Vitali… Ehh… Don’t think so. Lol

 

Gets banged by Zhang. A terrible styles match-up for someone who relied so heavily on his physical size and fundamental boxing no no's like leaning back. He gets timed.

 

Zhang doesn't even last 3 rounds before he starts getting pummelled because of his shitty gas tank. Zhang couldn't even Bang Hrgovic who is bootleg Vitali

 

He beat up Sanders who is similar to Zhang.

 

Sander's doesn't have anywhere near the ability to set-up his punches like Zhang.

Sanders also never went a hard 12 rounds in his entire career.

Zhang’s technique is more polished yes, but Sanders had much faster hands and his attacks were far more unpredictable. Zhang has terrible stamina too. He almost lost a decision to Jerry Forrest because he gassed out so bad later on in that fight and he lost a decision to Parker because he didn’t have the energy to throw more than 20 punches a round.

 

I think only Usyk gives him trouble. Big Vit beats Fury quite clearly IMO.
