I'm assuming you're not serious here, but if you are, Mayorga was going to lose whether he got KO'd or not. He won at best, one round. (I gave him none). A beat down like that is much different from having a fight doc end the fight because of a bad dangerous cut.


Not in any way different in the legitimacy of the result, nor the overall outcome, as Lennox inflicted the cut with his fist, and therefore won the fight, fair and square, and if no stoppage in that round, then the next or the next, because of the cut.

I understand your point, and I'm fine with the Round 6 TKO, but it's not the same as the Mayorga stoppage where Mayorga was very glad to be done.

But anyways Mosley was up 7-4 on Mayorga going into the 12th and then had a 3 point round so he would've won that fight by 6 points even without the KO.

Well i for one won't lose any sleep over it, especially when it comes with exciting fights. The press conference of him and Gomez was kind of funny as well, but it was in German, so many missed it.

 

I'm a big Vitali fan, but I have to agree with you on this.
Even though he fought bravely ,and well, and gave Lewis the toughest fight ever, it didn't call for all the brohaha at the end.
I would have like it better that he just remain humble and move on.
He almost had Lewis out and he knew it. I honestly think he was willing to lose that eyeball, than the fight to Lennox.
He was a little out of sorts that night.

As far as Vitali goes I think he can be forgiven,he was still pumped up from the heat of battle and felt he was going to win/could still win.

Wladimir had class, but nowadays Vitali shows something more that i dislike.

I disliked how Vitali behaves against Sanders and Lewis. Only Wlad concratulate Sanders for his win and that was the correct behavior. Sanders had beaten him, he was the better man that night.

And Lewis won the fight by TKO round 6. The fight was stopped and this was the correct dicision.

And no boring fights from Vitali? I believe some of you have forgotten this fights: for example against Larry Donald, Timo Hoffmann, Chris Byrd. Wlad KO´s Timo Hoffmann in the amterurs after 28 seconds in round 1. This fight was boring as hell. I never saw such an boring fight from Wlad.

I am more a Wlad-Fan because Wlad works hard on his own legacy, and that is the real way to become a Champion poeple will remember.

There was more that one cut, doorknob. Lets see you suggest that the cuts below Klitschko's eye and in Klitschko's mouth were caused by "punches which weren't hard" and punches that were "grazing".
