Oh right, fair enough, I haven't see the Byrd fight. Its very easy for a fighter who has achived everything he could in the ring, has established his legacy, and is at the end of his career, to quit when the going gets insormountabley tough. There is no evidence to suggest Lennox would have quit, he has no track record of doing so, and it is not a commonly held opinion, however, that is my opinion, he would have been KO'd or quit on his stool had the fight gone on much longer.

    :rofl

    Low-res pics? :patsch

This is getting sad on your part. Go find your low-resolution pics from the 2 weight ins and post them here. there are some where Lennox is doing the EXACT same pose and the pics are not low resolution either.

Like I said, I've just watched the fight. Why would I need to look at pics. I find it hard to understand.... that you don't believe Lennox was overweight or out of shape. His performance level just miraculously dropped off a cliff for no particular reason...:think

Vitali quitting against Byrd is forgotten since Wlad restored the families honour

I suggest you watch that 6th round a few more times and come back and tell us Lewis was the one that looked likely to give up or get knocked out :yep There was only going to be one winner in that fight, VITLAY was hanging on for dear life at the end of the 6th and wouldn't have lasted much longer. Of course his fans counter this with his amazing display of energy during his hissy fit - difference is he had that fit safe in the knowledge that Lewis wasn't going to hit him any more :deal

Here's the Byrd fight, in case you fancy a laugh. "It hurts, too much" :rofl

"That" version of lennox was getting his butt handed to him by a prime Vitali klitschko.

Prime Lennox, i'm sure, would have been a different story.

Lewis reminded me of Ali in the vitali fight.
Not the peak Ali though, the Ali that was decisioned by Leon Spinks. ALi did come back and win a rematch and looked in a lot better shape and looked a hell of lot more focused.(obviously furious with himself.)
people that credit him for coming back and winning the rematch need to watch the holmes fight to see how humiliating and pathetic a fighter at the end of their careers can be. Lewis didnt even get out early i think he was almost forty!

Lennox came into the fight at a career high by 3 pounds over his previous career high and 7.25 pounds heavier than the previous fight (Tyson fight)

you were calling the man 'fat' which is laughable.

And if anyone bends over their skin is going to fold a little around their mid-section.

He may have been out of shape but he was not fat by any means that is an idiotic statement trying to make things look worse than they really are.

I also have not seen one person in this thread say Lennox lost the fight.

Let me ask you this. Say Wlad comes into his next fight at a career high by 7 or so pounds. Are you going to call him fat also? :rofl:patsch

Yes it's got to be said WALDO rematching Byrd twice on VITLAYS behalf was pretty decent of him. All other Klitschko defeats have been avenged by either brother, except one :yep

Well 2 actually, if you count Hayemaker who already has a moral win over the pair of them.

Basic stuff like, if you don't train properly muscle turns to fat? :huh Or, if you don't train properly muscle turns to fat and this can effect stamina? Or, if you have rolls of fat on the side of your torse and small boobs where you pecs used to be, that is a general indication of the fact your overweight and out of shape?

The best shape I ever saw Lennox in, was against Holyfield the 2nd time. He weighed in at 242. For Vitali he weight in at 256 and 1/2 and it was blatantly obvious that NONE of that extra weight was muscle.

No, I'm a realist, if Wlad come in looking fat and out of shape, I would say that he was fat and out of shape. Thats just the way I roll. I'm waiting for your detailed explanation as to why Lennox's stamina and overal performance level took a nose dive, and why that had absolutely nothing to do with him being coming out of a long period of inactivity, being overweight and appearing out of shape, because you seem to think none of those things are relevant.
