"Not a Shot" Brock and Ray "Who?" Austin...the best.

He got out of the Briggs matchup and had Lyakhovich calling him out before settling for the #1:lol: Brock.

"WLAD fights the best" is bull****.

I understand what you are saying about VITKLIT, I just don't see how WLAD is a positive contrast with him. I previously stated that both Lyakhovich and Briggs were both wanting the fight, and Sergei had a damned belt...WLAD fights what the International Bum Federation sends his way, not by any stretch the best.

Jeez, can't a guy go outside and have a freakin's smoke?? Let's get something straight, OK - I'm no big fan of Vitali. But his fighting Maskaev is a whole different ballgame that Rahman - or Briggs, for that matter - getting title shots they don't deserve fighting a bunch of stiffs. Maskaev is the belt-holder - sure he also got a undeserved title shot, but he took advantage of Rahman's glass jaw and won. Of course, Vitali doesn't deserve his title shot at all either, but that's a whole 'nuther can of worms. The bottom line is that neither Rahman nor Maskaev are as good as Vitali, that's all I'm saying.

A fine point...but, you quickly disregard that Maskaev took him in the amateurs. They've only gone head to head the one time, but you can't disregard it until they meet again.

Afterall, Maskaev has proven on two occasions he has Rahman's number, Vitali on four occasions has proven nothing.:smoke

People are still talking about the Maskaev ****?

The only reason the Maskaev match was proposed was because Rahman was going to fight Barrett in August, and would've taken place in September. The Maskaev match would've been a tuneup for VK coming off an injury, and would not have delayed the Rahman fight unless he lost

How the **** can someone say a proposed tuneup against Maskaev shows he was scared of that chump Rahman, when Maskaev owned and humiliated Rahman TWICE :rofl

There are more haters for sure on this forum for the Klitschko's- irrational haters. It is a backlash I think to how this forum used to be. Three years ago plus on this forum, it was definately a pro-Klitschko forum to an absurd level, but those days are long gone.

    :rofl

These guys don't even understand what they're talking about. They need to check the facts, when bringing stuff up like the proposed Maskaev bout

That bout was only considered with the following timeline

    1. Vitali had back surgery and it was announced he'd be ready to return to the ring by September

    2. In a cash grab move to line their pockets and give a Don King fighter an undeserved title shot, the WBC ordered that Rahman and Barrett fight for the "interim" WBC title and right to fight Vitali. This fight was scheduled for August

    3. Vitali had been planning on returning to the ring to defend against Rahman in September. When it was announced that Rahman would be fighting in August, Vitali and his team kicked around the idea of fighting Maskaev in September as a tune up for a fight in December with Rahman. Either way, regardless of whether or not he fought Maskaev, the plan was for him to fight Rahman in December

Injuries did him in. He became frustrated with repeated injuries. These injuries were serious enough to require surgery. The idea that he had reputable doctors perform fake surgeries on him and left a guaranteed $8 million on the table because he was scared of Hasim Rahman is absolutely hysterical :rofl

And what's more ironic is that they claim he was trying to "duck" Rahman to fight Maskaev. Firstly, that's not the case. The idea that you would "duck" someone in order to fight an opponent that KTFO and humiliated the guy you're "ducking" on two separate occasions

I find it amazing how people even talk about ameteur fights to try to bring him down, and talk about things from yrs ago again and again. It must make people quiver when the K's win fights, because some of them only post about the K's nothing else. It must be tough going through life trying to do nothing but bring someone else down.

Superman, Spiderman & Batman weren't available so Wlad had to fight an undefeated Sam Peter, Chris Byrd for the IBF belt, undefeated Calvin Brock, mandatory Ray Austin and avenge a previous defeat to Brewster. What the **** more do you want?

Speak up there Sugie, who is worthy to challenge the HW King? Last month you were crying for Wlad to fight Briggs.........sounds like that may be a bad idea at this point since Briggs can only stay awake for a couple of rounds.

Open a book and read a bit. Reading comprehension isn't your thing. A while back Liakhovich pulled out of a fight against Wlad because he couldn't get a Visa.

Dog Rahman all you want, the man has never quit a fight, you cant say the same for either Klitschko. Vitali was never a True HW Champion that is a fact how do you become the ring champion when you do not face the ring champ to get that title? and you cant say that he beat Sanders for it, becuase Sanders was not ranked by the Ring, and he was not rated at all by the WBC IBF or the WBA, if you remember correctly Sanders held the WBO title when their fight was put together and when you hold one title the remaining sanctioning mobs do not rate you.
So as far as Lewis vacating the title according to the rules of the WBC the vacant title is supposed to be fought by the #1 and #2 contender if not #2 then #3 no where in the top 15 was Sanders rated becuase he was the WBO title. so like it or not, Vitali really never was a Heavyweight champion
