Vitali would only have a legitimate argument for being the #2 ATG HW, if he defeated Sugar Nikolay Valuev - the GOAT.
Thing is, SNV is as invincible as it gets and even the Vitali of 2004 wouldn't have realistically had a hope in hell, unless you consider the chance of him getting a gift decision; the only way to "beat" Niko.

    Agreed!

I was waiting for this thread after last night . . . these guys are so funny. I seriously have trouble rating him in the top 30 because I do not think he would have lasted in earlier eras . . . to soft too many injuries! His brother would do even worse. If they beat a guy like Shavers, they would have to get by Frazier, and then Foreman. I really cannot see either one of them making it in the 60s when they fought a lot more, 70s when everyone had skills, the 80s had a lot more top shelf fighters and the 90s lennox would have spanked them with ease, but they would have to beat a lot of very good guys to get to him.

They are very good fighters, and by far the best of this era, but they are only very good not great.

Vitali wouldn't be able to handle the Rock's constant pressure for 12 rounds, the pace of the fight along with the heavy shots would take thier toll, resulting in a quit job after 5.

    :yep:yep:yep

Yep, VITLAY and WALDO would have beaten any HW in history head to head if you listen to their fans...amazing that they've both got losses on their records in the shittiest division for 20 years when you think about it, they should both be undefeated, surely - or at least have both avenged their losses :huh

If Chris Turd can make VITLAY quit, then I suspect the Rock would too, only it'd happen earlier.

VITLAY - "hey coach, this guy won't move backwards, what's happening?"

COACH - "be quiet champ, you can quit in a couple of rounds and claim it was a real career ender, just stay away from the right hand!"

I would put Vitali # 3 behind Lewis and Tyson. But I would not even rank Wlad in the top 20. Vitali is a lot better than his brother. I've always said that. Vitali has a hard style to deal with and he knows how to use his size. Even fighters like Ali would have caught hell with his style and size. And on top of that he takes a good punch. I think Lennox lewis would always beat his due to him being big to but I think it would always be a good fight. But I do take in account that vitali only had two weeks to get ready for this fight. Thats why I always wanted to see the rematch. Everyone always says that Lewis was not at his best which he was not. But vitali wasn't either. Vitali looker a lot shaper in the kirt Johnson fight. But I still feel Lewis didn't take quiet the shot that vitali can but lewis had more power. But for sure Wlad has lived of his brothers name.

Marciano was great in his day but he's a cruiserweight by today's standards...

Times change. Athletes get bigger, better, stronger. It's evolution.

Vitali Klitschko KOs Marciano w/the first shot he lands.

Marciano would batter vitali all over his body until vitali quits on his stool. We all know Vitali runs whenever he experiences pain.

    FW,

Is it just me or does Vitali hate pressure? when sanders gave him a little pressure + power, vitali had that " O ****" look in his face and went down in round 1. Sanders was so old and out of shape, that he actually punched himself out in that first round and had nothing left after.

    Absolute, twisted thinking, nonsense.

If Maricano had the steroids that VITLAY has had available throughout his career then he'd be a very solid 220lbs, about as big as Chris Byrd and twice as ****ing dangerous, get where I'm coming from here? No-one ever bested the rock in the ring, yet 2 guys have bested VITLAY, so to say that VITLAY would KO Rock with the first shot he threw is about as idiotic as it gets but that's the general standard of post around here I guess.

PS Please don't waste your time denying that VITLAY is a steroid abuser - he was caught in the act, Rock wasn't. Rating VITLAY above Marciano is about the stupidest thing I've ever seen on these boards, but I'm constantly surprised by the Klit-ites :huh:nut
