Early, Peter is slow, throws wide punches, has over-rated power and chin .

Just hopefully this fights, he will hurt Peter.

Truthfully, with Vitali's long lay-off and more of a grinding-down style of knockout punching than straight-out bombing, I think it would take him 'till the late rounds to stop Sam.

I voted for round 5 since Vitali usually likes to punish his opponents a bit before disposing of them. :D

A better question is how much Peter will weigh? Vitali opponents have a nasty habbit of coming in at career high weights. Peter is already on the overweight side, he's going to be a whale!

Giving Vitali an option to fight Peter next is the worst thing that could happen to Peter. The fight will be made, Vitali will get injured in training camp... the fight will be postponed. Repeat this about three times and Peter becomes very inactive while waiting. Peter is pretty skillless as it is, he doesn't need to add ring rust to his lack of craft.

Vitali will fight ... I wouldn't be surprised if Vitali was laying low to let Wlad do his thing and get proper recognition.

I think that it will take 6 rounds or less ... Vitali has a better chin, more speed, and definitely more power than Wlad. He uses his jab to discourage Peter for the first 3 rounds and then takes him out with a barage of rights --

Peter also showed that he's too slow for the big time guys and his work rate isn't up there. He has bad habbits and they usually come out when his back is against the wall.

Vitali will have a training camp ... that wouldn't make sense and wouldn't be professional if he didn't have a training camp.

Anyway it goes Peter stands no chance ... Vitali smashed the 2 of the 3 guys that beat Wlad, just think of what he would do against a guy who lost to Wlad.

He was always injury prone, but on the other hand he fought very few rounds in his career, not many fights and only one 12 rounder, only one war with Lewis over six...so he is far less damaged goods than most older fighters on a comeback.

Vitali needs to be only 70% of the fighter he was to beat Peter. If he can't do that, he won't com back, he is smart, wealthy and has a meaningful life outside of boxing. If he does make it through a training camp, he will easily dominate Peter. Even the fat version of Kirk Johnson that Vitali blew out of the ring would be very tough opposition for Peter.

I don't see any point to Wlad fighting Peter again ... He won the first fight fair and square.

That's why we are taling about Vitali, his big bro.
Of course I was joking about the no training camp but Vitali looks like in better shape without any training than Peter after 6 weeks...

And Peter was about 22 years old. He has not business whatsover being in the ring with a prime Wlad way back then in his career. They are now both in their prime. Now's the time to put on the BEST HW fight out there... BARNONE. And let's hope to God, we have a semi-competent ref this time as well.

Damn haven't seen this in a long time. Vitali looks like one damn amateur in there with those wide slow swings. God what a lack of talent.
