Funny, I dont think Haye can beat him. Vitali has the chin that can take those monster shots and keep coming after you. After the cut vs Lewis, the only thing that made Lewis look good is Vitali could not see out of 1 eye, thats how Lewis landed in last 2 rounds. Vitali took it all, yes he is older. Haye is no Lewis and never will be.

Nah, Moorer got the leftovers. I don't think Holyfield was in the decline until after Bowe. Plus, the shot the Bowe caught Holyfield with would have dropped any version of Holyfield.

Still, I think Vitali is going to be able to take any swarm Briggs can muster up. I see Vitali in a 9th round stoppage.

That's what is interesting to me.

Vitali has slowed down a little bit and Shannon still has quick hands and an incredible punch.

People are writing this fight off, but TBH it's a more difficult fight (in my mind) then the last 2.

I don't think people remember that Briggs almost knocked down (out) Lennox.

Viatli will win this easily, move on to an easy mandatory victory over solis, and then an easy win against Valuev.

He says he is feeling better than ever, and since he has not clearly lost a round in his comeback, I believe him.

I think Haye can beat him using a Gameplan like the Valuev one. He has much Faster Hands and Feet also his reflexes are much better. He can stay on the outside and potshot and then get out.

Haye can certainly hurt Vitali if he lands the right shot, Vitali's head is quite static now. If you couple that with Haye's fast, snappy power and punches from unorthodox angles the results could be somewhat suprising. Wouldnt bet on Haye stopping him though, doubt i would pick Haye to beat heam anyway due to Vitali's conditioning.:good

Briggs is still dangerous and according to him he is taking the proper medication to help with his asthma. I still predict that vitali will win in the second half of the fight. vitali has declined a bit and the first thing to go is the reflexes than the speed then the indurance and then the strength. i would like to see David Haye fight Vitali next like the early part of next year Vitali would win because he is actually still quicker of foot than you guys think and The jab would control the fight and haye would be gone in the second half of the fight against Vlad he would have no chance

Strongly disagree! vitali right now is the best and strongest heavyweight!
If shannon somehow beats him all credit to him! This would be a sensation!

Who would want to sit through that fight watching Haye throw 11.9 punches a round again? It was pure garbage if he fights the Klitschko's like that after all of his talk Haye is a complete joke.

I dont mean fight the exact same fight. I mean fight from the outside and Make Vitali come to him. He would obviouslyhave to up the workrate as Vitali throws many more punches than Valuev

Vitaly would have to clearly loose a round before it is fair to call him faded.

He just fights to the level of his competition is all. When he comes out being wild, he tends to get injured. Vitaly has stated that he intends to fight on, and he will continue to win every round and stop guys until someone like Pulev, Helenius, or Boytsov is ready.

Haye will not make it past the second.

I don't think he's much faded. He just looks bad in certain fights because he not the most fluid fighter around.

Yes, Briggs did almost have Lennox out. Yes, Vitali has slowed some, he's getting close to 40-years-old, so the human body dictates that he would have slowed down since he was 30.

I'm a huge Vitali fan....but this fight against Briggs has me more nervous than any fight since his comeback, with the exception of the Peter fight, as he had been away for so long and we weren't sure how he would look.

Briggs can bang, that's for sure. And from watching his most recent fights, he's still quick. Even if it was against bums, doesn't change the fact that he's still pretty quick and powerful. He also looks to be in very good shape from his Facebook/Youtube videos.

With that said, my best bet would be for Vitali to wear Briggs down over 8-10 rounds, seeing that Briggs has only went a total of 4 rounds over the last 3-years. But those first few rounds should be exciting!

    Go Vitali!
