When you get to 41 & your best win is still Sam Peter, you dont belong near the top 20

I'll bypass the others for a moment and ask, serious question: Why is he above Marciano?

And also, why is Louis at 4 and Holmes at 2? Johnson 3 but no Dempsey, Tunney?

I struggle to rate Vitali so highly when he really has no great fighters that he beat on his resume. What is Vitali's best win? Corrie Sanders? He is clearly a match for most great heayweights in history, but his resume does let him down I am afraid. Top 20 maybe. Top 10? Not really. I would rate Wlad higher.

Yeah Vitali's sitting too high...but maybe his top10 is based on H2h ability.
But then again that doesn't explain Johnson sitting 3rd and Tyson so low.
Either way, IMO Johnson 3rd is more worrying and wrong then having Vitali in top 10.

I can see Vitali making someone's top 10 H2h list quite easy, but not if the list is a career accomplishment list, then he drops of significantly.

Styles make fights......... V.K. at his best despite what year you all wish to pick, would kill Dempsey and Marciano with little problem via a time machine, and you can toss Joe Frazier in there as well...... V.K. is a solid top-10 ATG champion at 200+ pounds....

    P.S.

    **** all the haters....

A prime Vitali was wobbled several times by Sanders. The likes of Frazier would take him out.

I like Vitali, but his best wins are over Peter and Arreola. He's not great in any sense of the word.

I don't have a problem with Vitali in the top ten at all. But Wlad should be no where near the top ten. I mean Vitali never even got knocked down in a fight. How many fighters can claim that?? I always liked Vitali because he is tough as hell and mean. I wish he would have got the rematch with Lewis but I think Lewis was just the better fighter. Vitali had his chance in that second round but he just let Lewis off the hook. I really think Lewis did the right thing by retiring. He had nothing left to prove.

I'm not a hater if its me you are referring to. I'm realistic. I don't see how you're list is ranked, what's the criteria, if its H2H how is Johnson higher than Louis, Lewis, Tyson, for example? It doesn't make sense.

Yes he did whats your point?? Webber put ALi on his ass. I think Holmes would have gave Vitali the most problems with that jab. I think Vitali would have lost on cuts. But Vitali has a good chin unlike Wlad. That uppercut Lewis hit him with would have knocked out most people.

No good wins over anyone nearly good (historically speking.)
Best wins are Sam Peter and Golfer Corrie Sanders who almost knokced him out. Anyone a little better than the caliber of Peter and Sanders will KO Vitali or win a wide UD.
