Its a non factor. You can only put forward what Vitali did do , not what he could have done.

Foreman fought many fights into his late 40's but you're actually trying to argue Vitali was greater by doing nothing and fighting nobody.

    A new level.

And Vitali wasn't impressive against complete bottom feeder Charr.

You don't know how he would have fared against Foreman opposition.

Do you really think Foreman quits on his stool against Byrd or gets stopped by Lewis in six rounds? We can all can play that game.

Vitali's body was basically falling apart by his mid-30s and only managed three fights against middling opposition post-40. It's not as if he was some destroyer tearing through the division.

Jack Johnson has to be a chance.

He went 14-0 to start his 40s plus career. And even knocked out a top contender (Brad Simmons) when he was in his 50s.

Thats completely irrelevant to this thread.
    Would Foreman quit against Byrd?

Once again, completely irrelevant, as far as i know Vitali didnt face any of them, so you cant compare.

But he didnt though did he?
This thread is not about comparison, its about who actually did what.

And Foreman did a whole more.

As Dubblechin touched the point above....Vitali at 40, was 3-0, Foreman was 17-3 and id throw Holmes in there too at 21-3.

Both Holmes and Foreman fought better opposition and did more than Vitali, not only that, they hung around for longer as well.

    Simple numbers my friend.

Foreman quit in his dressing room after the Young fight. How he would do with a torn shoulder is unknown.

Mostly because Foreman fought lesser men, and received 1-2 gift decisions. Vitali was undefeated in his 40's and more dominant in the ring.

Vitali quit because he didn't want to fight Hasim Rahman and later quit for good because he didn't want to fight Bermane Stiverne.

You didn't see Foreman quit when faced with ATG and prime Holyfield.

Undefeated? He was 3-0 and quit before he took a loss.

On what planet is that greater than what Foreman achieved!? You're delusional

Foreman ducked Holmes. Would've been a huge fight, but we know what the outcome would've been. Foreman definitely did.

no UNLIKE, lewis retired at 38, age every HW champ in history has bar foreman (who came out of retuiremnt).

lewis did the norm, you are ragin against what is norm and fact, so the question is why are you doing that? whats your issue.

vitali "retired" at 34 when to be facing the old past it hasim rahman. 34 is NOT the norm to reitre.

THEREFORE YOU ARE ACTUALLY RAGING AGAINST VITALI WITH YOUR AGUMENT. WELL DONE THERE, destroying your own cause. noneed to even reply to you.
