I find it hard to pick Vitali against some of the more proven great fighters.

    Ali stops him.

Tricky IMO we never really saw Ali with anyone who’d have a significant size advantage and all the attributes that VK presented in combination.
VK was very busy had pop and an awesome chin - he could be a bit straight up and down but he didn’t really lose many rounds because of that did he? Ali lost to another “robotic” fighter by the name of Ken Norton who didn’t look any more skilled then Vitali IMO there’s the issue of VK’s length too Ali had a lot of issues leading that people chalk up to various things besides Ali just not being good at certain ways of fighting lol.
Vitali’s path to victory I think is to to not step into his jab, stay in the centre and let Ali put himself out of range pulling away… if MA keeps on the outside trying to draw and Vitali just works off MA’s jab he won’t have to work very hard to make him frustrated and get him fighting in a way he wasn’t super impressive with, if he can make that happen he should be able to start landing if MA tried to work his way into punching range…
once he’s in grabbing distance he can really irritate him with the same stuff Ali pulled on his shorter opponents.
