I don't place any value whatsoever in this mythical p4p lists, so makes no odds either way to me. This just highlights why I think they're ridiculous.

I mean, when you have a welterweight fighting a superfeatherweight/lightweight just because he's ranked highly on these lists then boxing really has gone bat****. The p4p list was created as a means of comparing fighters who could not fight each other due to weight differences, and it's now being used to justify fights between fighters who should never be fighting each other.

Fair play to Vitali though, if only for his longevity. No one at heavyweight beats him apart from possibly his brother. Most heavyweights of his age would be cannon fodder by now.

p4p = pound for pound. Champion, are you telling me that there are not more than 8 boxers in the world at any weight division that could beat Vitali if he were to box using the style that he uses at HW at the other boxers divisions?
