he was losing every round, never said easily, but then again if you think you can beat vitali klitschko you better have been able to smash lyakovich into last year. he looked **** up until the last 30 seconds, i saw it live and almost turned the fight off.

This fight is only good as a stay active fight, a fight is always better than no fight, but Briggs odds at competing in this, considering his recent track, are very small.

The only way Briggs can compete is if he started serious training when he first was contacted by Vitali`s camp, back in july, which is a must for a overwheight, asthmatic, already 38 years old fighter.

The most likely scenario is Briggs starting to train only after the deal was signed, which means we will have the same 270lbs, 10 punches per round, static, letargic, boring fighter, only in it for the payday, who should quit somewhere at the middle of the bout, trying to avoid an imminent KO.

Good fight. Vitali KOs him late but I'm interested to see how Vitali handles Briggs' power if he lands.

This will be entertainning. My prediction is that Vitali will torture Briggs.

Vitali is just fooling around before his retirement. Who else could he fight? Haye and Povetkin are duckers. Adamek and Solis are not ready yet, and Valuev has already ducked Vitali.

    No he wasnt

" With Liakhovich (23-2, 14 KOs), of Scottsdale, Ariz., ahead by the scores 106-103 twice and 105-104, Briggs knew that he had to do something dramatic in the 12th round to win his first world title in his second appearance."

With two knockdowns added in there the fight would have been majority Draw even if Sergei would have survived. With Shannon leading in one score card.

I defended Vitali when he took on two incredibly weak opponent in a row, but this is too much. If he can't find anyone better to fight, why should fans bother watching?

Toney fights some MMA guy. It is a shame. KlitschKO is ducking nobody. Though, alot of fighters do not want to fight him. Gaye and Valuev top the list. These guys will never fight Dr Iron Fist Vitaliy KlitschKO.

This fight will be almost like McCline-Briggs.

Shannon will go into a shell and look to survive after the second round ends. He just doesn't have the stamina to do what needs to be done here.

Vitali will lean back and move enough to avoid Shannon's bombs for the first 3 rds. After that, Briggs will be a tired, stationary target for him.

Vitali will get a late TKO or UD win. He doesn't have that same one shot power that Wladimir has nowadays, which is why I think it'll go on until the ref stops it or the judges weigh in.

It could be a boring and predictable fight, but Vitali will win this.

Briggs is going to get paid, but it would be great if he actually came to win. That would mean showing a dedication to being in his best possible shape for the fight.

I hope I'm wrong, but Shannon is probably just going for an easy Klitschko payday. I'd love to see him go out there and give a great accounting for himself.

The version of Briggs that fought Lewis would be very interesting to see in there with either Klitschko brother. I really hope he didn't just start moving around until recently. Hope he's been in the gym for a while.
