Vitali was suppose to fight with Maskaev remember, thats why the Peter/Maskaev match was postponed wasnt it. If you want I will look it up and find the site were I read it if you would like.

There is nothing unsubstantiated about Vitaly pulling out of FIVE scheduled fights in a row.

Don't stray from your statement about not being able to see kit Vitali, anymore. Regardless if the other fight postponments, we are addressing the fact that YOU can't see a fit Vitali anymore, when he's had only two injuries. TWO.

One of the fights was postponed because of a bone spur on his back which was pressing on a nerve in his thigh; a preexisting condition, not an injury.

He's had two injuries over this whole three year period. Yet he is so fragile that you just can't see a fit Vitali, anymore.

 

I stand corrected, now that I think about it. They were wanting to try and set that fight up, yes but King weaseled Peter in there, and screwed it up. But the Vitali Maskaev fight was never a scheduled fight, per say. King put the kabosh on that very quickly.

Exactly, you gave him the proof and he refuses to acknowledge it, sounds like a Klit nut hugger to me. Facts dont matter to most of these guys, they believe what they want to believe.

I don't care WHY he can't make fight dates. I have seen historical evidence ie the last FIVE fights - that he can't.

I don't see what will be different next time round either.

But if you think missing five fight dates in a row is a sign of a fighter that has nothing wrong with his body, then I guess that's your opinion.

Mine is that I don't see it. Three years, and five fights, is enough to tell me that his body can't cope with the demands of being a full time, active pro fighter any more.

You can't disregard the fight postponements, that's the whole ****ing point.

Fair enough, but that also effected Peter as well, even though he was the mandatory after he beat Toney he had to take another fight against Toney because Vitali wanted to come out of retirement to challange Maskaev. Boxrec had it up as a scheduled fight for while as well, even ESB had it up.

 

Wlad is simply better.

I shouldn't need to tell you how. Look at the evidence in front of your eyes. Look at what each guy did AND WHO THEY DID IT TO, and it's clear that Wlad >>>> Vitali.

Vitali fought elite fighters twice, lost twice. Held a legit title for ONE defence in TWO YEARS. Against DANNY WILLIAMS.

You should be telling me how Vitali is better than Wlad, not the other way round. Try to do that USING FACTS, without using what you THINK would happen, but by evidence from the real world.

I have never mentioned, nor do not care about the number of injuries he has had.

If you want to phrase my opinion, here is what it is.

I believe the fact that Vitali has not fought for 3 years, and has had to pull out of FIVE fights in a row due to physical problems, shows that he cannot make it as a full time, professional fighter.


NOTE: by that, I mean a full time active fighter. Not one fight then back into retirement again. Not a fight against Maskaev, 12 months off, a voluntary defence and retirement. FUll time, active fighter.


Unless you think he was pulling out of the Rahman fights for other reasons?

 

Name one fighter in history who has come back from an injury layoff of more than 2 years, in his mid-late 30's, and was as good as ever.

And I'm willing to bet that if he does come back, it will be for no more than two fights. He won't be "dominating" ****.

I doubt he'll be back at all. I called it before he pulled out of the McCline fight and got called a hater. I don;t hate him, I just see things the way they are, not the way you all wish they were.

Funnily enough though, if I had to pick one to fight for my life, I'd pick Vitali.

I just think that if Vitali lost, it would simply be because the other guy was better.

I think Wlad could lose to guys worse than him due to a whole host of reasons - pressure, fatigue, panic, call it what you will.

Vitali - I think he would only ever lose due to ability. (which no doubt, Wlad has more of than him)

First, you say he pulled out of five fights due to injuries, but I corrected you and posted the facts.

Now you realize that a preexisting bone spur on someones back is in no way telling as to them being fragile or not, so now YOU change your own wording to read, *physical problems*, in an attmept to backpeddle.
