"I’m 65 years old and I mean it when I say I’d get in there with [Wladimir Klitschko] and fight for the title. Because he’s no threat. Give me six months to get in shape. Would these guys have survived in my era? No. But good luck to them, they’re doing what they can with their talent."

    - Larry Holmes

"–Wladimir Klitschko’s opponents have the physical skills but not the right attitude to beat him. Klitschko has myriad vulnerabilities that are just aching to be exploited by the right fighter. If someone would just summon the guts to charge at Klitschko and throw punches, the champ would fall."

Tyson never made that comment about beating the Klitsckos you lying pos.

And I'm still waiting for that video footage of Wldmir punching faster than Ali.

    You've had 3 months.

You're a joke if you think that. Wanna compare title defenses? Liston had just one, and many of Patterson's title opponents would not be allowed to even fight Vitali.

    NO NO NO.

Lewis said he would re-match several times. He was down 4-2 on all three cards, tried and would have needed to win 4 of the next 6 rounds to produce a draw.

Vitali deserved a re-match. Lewis waited to see Vitali fight two more times, then decided his chances were not good. So he went against his word and retired rather than risk getting beaten.

The " Lion " was retired when the WBC ordered a re-match. Lewis said he do it multiple times.

    Those are the facts.

He wouldn't need to produce a draw, it was crystal clear that Vitali was not going to see the distance.

Resume resume resume. The quote was this.

"No. VK's comp hasn't stood the test of time as much as could have been expected, considering Arreola and Solis hype, and to a lesser extent, Chisora and Kevin Johnson. But its still much better than other HW's considered top 20 such as Patterson, Liston, Dempsey, Jeffries, etc. (And unlike them, he didn't lose to his comp while champ or returning champ" .
I know you cant read, write or spell ,you have a tag partner in Unclegermite , two idiots together.

You are nothing more than a LIAR, plain and simple, who needs to be exposed. Put your money where your big mouth is and bet me £10,000. Lewis announced his retirement in February 2004 Leetchko didn't fight Sanders until April 2004.

    Ten grand or STFU.

Patterson was stopped by 3 men. Liston, Ali, and Johansson. Two of which hit as hard or harder than Viltali Klitchko for sure.

Furthermore Patterson never quit like a dog, because he had a shoulder problem. Even Danny Williams carried on fighting with one arm and KO'd Mark Potter.

    Idiot.:nut:nut

tko6 is the fact that matters. vitali didn't last half the distance despite going on an early defenceless blitzkrieg, and that lack of defence cost him the fight.

risk getting beate? hes already won, and with style.

he retired because he was 38. every HW champion in history had retired around or before that age, so what he did was entirely acceptable and normal.
It would have been ENTIRELY ABNORMAL for him to fight on at 38.

You want that abnormal to be the normal accepted way so desperately only because you don't want to accept he killed vitalis face in a few rounds.

very few of vitalis "defences" actually constitute title defences.

It is not Mcveys fault that you bought into the K bro propaganda into accepting them as title defences. It is solely yours, take responsibility for your mistakes in life.
