Haye ain't getting ****. The guy has no Chin and he already pussed out of two title shots. Haye is not a fighter.

This isn't good news - cancelling a fight between actual HW contenders (which doesn't happen very often these days) for a fight that MIGHT happen? How often do proposed fights actually come off?

Besides, Johnson just becomes another guy with no experience against a top-20 opponent that will get blown out in a title shot. God this division is weak.

Looks like Vitali is making up for the time he lost during that injury timeout.

Klitschko will make such light work of the fat mess that he could probably schedule in another fight on the same night.

Taking this with a tub full of salt.

No way can Vitali's knees stand up to what effectivley would be 2 training camps and 2 fights in 4-5 months.

If it is the case though, it would suggest to me that Vitali isn't taking either fight too seriously. And I just don't buy that.

I'm no massive fan of Vitali and Wladimir, but we have to accept that those two lumps are good, solid boxers. Fantastic? No way. Unbeatable? No way.

Untill Povetkin and Haye can start dominating, and getting the fights that they both deserve, we're gonna have to keep putting up with Vitali and Wladimir fighting the likes of Chambers, Johnson etc, along with the fighters they've previously beaten i.e. Gomez, Ibragimov etc.

Definitley would NOT watch a Vitali v Toney fight, or would want to hear of the deal being made. What Toney is doing with his career is acceptable enough, he doesn't need the money, but realises boxing means alot more to him than he thought 5-6 years ago. And in reality he's just doing what Roy Jones Jnr is doing, and I wouldn't be suprised if they fight each other again or both retire within a month or so of each other.

Vitali should try and get a fight with Chambers instead of trying to fight yet another unproven youngster... As much as I would like to see him fight Toney, I think that Toney should first get a couple of good performances under his belt.

Actually Vitali vs. Chambers would prove a lot more competitive than Wladimir vs. Chambers IMO, Chambers' style could be a difficult puzzle to solve for the older Klitschko...

I agree in that it certianly don't sound like Vitali to look past anyone.

But if his handlers are merely seeing if Johnson would take a December fight with Vitali in the case he is victorious against Arreola, that don't mean Vitali is looking past Arreola, its just that his handlers are planning out his last few fights.

Cause there is not much out there to pose a threat, anymore.

Credible opponents are few and far between, and I don't even see Kevin Johnson as a credible opponent, but what is Vitali to do with what there is avialable, and given that he has mandatories to satisfy?

I think he wants that last title, the buffoonish WBA belt, and I think will stay fighting a while longer and stay active, hoping he can get a crack at it, even if it takes another year or so.

And if fighting someone like Johnson can keep him active and making money in the meantime, so be it. At least he's not sitting idle for 8 months between fights, as he has been known to do in the past.

It looks like he expects Arreola will be a cake walk. Arreola could come in decent shape and shock the hell out of everybody. Not that he is gonna win, but, it is definitely premature to be looking at a December date right now. This fight with Chris could be a tough one. Chris is no push over as people on here make him to be.

  11. The mark of a true champion is staying active and giving other people shots at his belt, he is truly the best heavyweight and is now making up for last time.

Chambers is intent on fighting the best and that's Wladimir. Vitali vs Chambers would be a good match, but Chambers does not want to risk his mandatory status.

Chambers probably has better chances against Wlad so he's doing the right thing, mandatory or not.

It's great Vitali is staying active. Though Wladimir is clearly fighting the better opposition than Vitali. But Vitali can prolong his career by staying active.
