Peter's best chance is to rush Vitali from the opening bell, and swing for the fences , in hopes of catching him on the chin with a hayemaker as Vitali is going back (assuming he does go back, instead of standing his ground and firing back......LOL )..

Cause anything else will fail miserably, as Vitali's reach will negate anything else Peter may try.

Peter needs to make it a wild, chaotic exchange, and just hope he does the most damage, the soonest.

Guys, this fight will resemble Vitali - Danny Williams. Vitali all the way.

Glass chinned Wlad almost KO'ed Peter. What do you think big brother Vitali will do to him?

My comrade, the only thing stopping Vitali is his knees or his shoulders.
Lewis punches are far more dangerous than Peters, but you're absolutely right, there's a remote chance that Peter can catch him cold in the first couple of rounds.

I'm going to quote Jack Dempsey "Any man can get knocked out in the first few rounds, your body is still cold and you haven't warmed up"

Nevertheless, Vitali shall overcome this obstacle with little trouble.:good

Exactly. If Sam Peter had 'it'................we'd know it by now. He doesn't, and Vitali is exactly the man to 'expose' Sam Peter brutally.

Do you reckon Sam Peter has the intelligence or courage to adopt this aggressive strategy? I doubt it. Peter will start cautiously giving Vitali precious time to settle and adapt in to the fight. Once Vitali settles in to a rhythym............Peter has no chance. Game over.

...guys like you are great...find a way to demean a TKO victory.

The fight was stopped so that Maskaev can still have his health and livelihood, I don't understand why you would want to see him permenantly injured by Peter or put to sleep...when he was obviously hurt and on the retreat.

One of those punches would have KDd him out of the ring if the ropes didn't break his fall.

Let's stick to the point: who is gonna win - Vitali or Sam Peter?

No sitting on the fence. A definitive answer for the record please:

Ah yes, another Klitschko excuse. WALD never gets KO'd he gets TKO'd therefore his chin is fine. VITLAY only ever gets stopped in the corner whilst ahead on the cards therefore he doesn't have a glass jaw and is braver than Ali :nut

It was an amateur fight for gods sakes it is pathetic that you have to bring up losses in the am's anyway. Like I said go look at Peter's losses in the amateurs and report back what you see.

It's not an excuse it's a fact. He never has had a glass jaw or evn close to it. What fights have you been watching were someone made Vits legs wobble? I have seen Peters legs turn to jelly.

Yeah bringing up the am is quite ridiculous at this point.

I was addressing a point made by another poster...directly on point.

How's this for the record...VITKLIt has no-showed his last FIVE scheduled bouts.

If this fight were in the U.S I would definitely bet Peter. I expect a Peter KO in the fight, but in the event that it doesn't thappen...I do not expect fair officiating in Germany for the bout.

In the U.S. I feel that the judges would actually wait for the rounds to finish before turning in the score...the KLIT's are the adopted boxing sons of Germany, and if it goes 12 there will be home-cooking.

Therefor, fans of both sides should hope for the KO.

Lennox was the only thing holding Vitali up at two points in their fight.

Once after the uppercut where Vitali held on, then near the end when Vitali stumbled the entire length of the ring while Lennox was trying to escape from his bear-hug.

Vitali = Overrated, the guy has been out of the ring for 4 years with injuries and visions of becoming Mayor, yet he's going to comeback and knockout the most dangerous puncher in the division? Give me a break, Vitali will survive a couple rounds because of his chin, but one too many overhand rights will send Vitali crashing to the canvas by the middle rounds, Peter is just too good right now to be beat by Vitali.
