And he WAS off his feet in that fight - remember when Lennox offered a hand to help him up and classy Vitali responded by aiming a kick at him? :yep

Again, you are just doing what all Vitali fanboys seem to do - you are looking at stats without looking at the quality of opposition making up those stats.

A win:loss record alone does NOT tell you how good a fighter is.

 

The kick came before Lewis offered his hand and Vitali was frustrated by that since Lewis was kneeling on him quite a lot with Lou Morrett looking on without any consideration. Pretty much like the holding and hitting applied by Lewis, like 7-8 completely ignored punches to the body by Lewis wasn't exactly classy either.

Both men were holding during the body punches, and as long as you have a free arm and the referee isn't calling for a break, you can punch.

I didn't say it was simple. It would require trawling through boxrec looking for unknowns with perfect records.

I don't need to prove it. It's common knowledge. If you know boxing at all, you know that all around the world, on every undercard, you get some up & comer with a perfect record with all KO's. There was one on the undercard of Marquez vs Casamayor that I was at a couple of weeks ago.

 

I never said that makes it OKAY to kick, just made it clear that frustration does kick-in when another fighter is using certain illegal tactics and is getting away with them. Also the kick didn't exactly land and wasn't intended to hit him too hard, other fighters have done way more with the intentional low blows, headbutts, elbows..etc
