Muhammad Ali fought Chuck Wepner immediately following TWO back to back tough fights with Joe Frazier and George Foreman and right BEFORE he took on Ron Lyle, Joe Bugner and Joe Frazier again.. Wepner was supposed to be a stay busy fight inbetween tough matches and amidst a very busy schedule.. As for Brian London, Ali fought him in the middle of a very long road trip in which he defended his crown 7 times in 18 months and in some of those cases in those men's back yards in other countries... You don't even see shlt like that anymore. Now how about Vitali? wanna know who his last few fights were going into the Solis bout? A 40 year old Shannon Briggs, Albert Sosnowski, and Kevin Johnson.. And you're picking on Ali for taking on a soft touch here and there?
