The Solis win was meaningless, Solis went into the ring injured.

"A scan revealed tears to Solis' anterior cruciate ligament and external meniscus, as well as cartilage damage in his right knee." [

"German media reported that Solis and his team admitted they knew there was a problem with the right knee before the fight but went through with the bout anyway. The Solis camp denied any admission of knowledge of a pre-fight injury and claimed the media reports in Germany falsely quoted a Solis spokesman"

This is why you are one of the most ignorant posters here. Jeffries had not fought in 6 years and had no warm up fights. He was shot. :deal

Fitzsimmons was 44 years old and had an injury coming into the fight.:deal

Neither of these was great wins in a pure boxing sense. All of Vitali's title opponents were active and most of them would have beaten those old versions of Jeffries and Fitzsimmons.

Sometimes I think you're pulling our legs with your comments. Then again it's proven you don't know what you're watching, you don't know how to add, and pretty much fail to give an objective and balanced view that is free of double standards.

It's clear you hate Vitali. You don't like Jeffries, you think Rocky lacked one punch power, you go out of your way to discredit Corbett. Hmmmm.... does anyone notice a pattern?

If you watch ( You don't ) you'll notice Vitali landed a punch that buckled Solis and that caused the injury. :deal

Solis was actually doing quite well and showed no signs of a gimpy knee in round prior to the punch. In fact, I think Solis was in the lead for the round prior to getting hurt by the punch.:deal

Please tell us that you are on medication. It would explain a lot.

Try winning 2:50 against Vitali with a completely blown out knee and no brace. The nature of his injury was nowhere near what it was after he went down. He likely did have a minor injury going into the fight, common throughout boxing. But it ripped to shreds secondary to balance issues after a legitimate temple shot. And it's not like he was cherry picked due to his knee.

    Correct.

Anyone with a pair of good working eyes knows this. But when you deal with hate and agendas some people have blinders on.

Thats not the same as saying he best 12 top 10 rankers is it. That like saying Wilder beat a world champ when he beat White Wolf.

You had to be corrected once again.

I don't hate any boxer but I do dislike Nazeem Hamed ,and I detest you. My point which,[as I knew it would,] went over your Red -neck head, is where any boxer was once ranked doesn't mean jack ****!

Shannon Briggs was once the lineal champion but by the time he challenged Vitali he was a washed up journeyman 2 months from his 40th birthday.
    Get it now thicko?

ps You should apply for a job with the Miami Police Dept ,you'd fit right in!

Vitali is older than Briggs, but yeah Shannon was always limited against good boxers.

Solis went into the ring with the injury dumbo!

"Solis did not appear hurt from the punch, but he stepped back and lost his footing. He went down, and it was quickly clear that Solis was in trouble -- but not because of his head. He had a problem with his right knee and was unsteady as he struggled to get to his feet by pulling himself up as he grabbed on to the ropes. As Solis struggled to move on the bad knee, referee Guadalupe Garcia called off the fight as the opening round was coming to a close. "

Briggs was washed up at top level, he was nearly 60 lbs of steroid induced bulk heavier than when he fought Lewis 12 years before. He should not have been fighting for the title, end of.

He was UNRANKED by the Ring. He had beaten no contenders and he has beaten none since ,his record is padded with nobodies ,never wassers ,and has -beens, like 38 years old Monte Barrett his best scalp btw.
    Untried and untested.

    How desperate are you?:patsch

Hers another challenge that you will duck Rainman.

Where were the following ranked in the top ten by the Ring magazine when Vitali defended against them?

    Charr
    Solis
    Briggs
    Williams
    Sosnowski
    Chisora

    That's half ,50% of his title challengers.:think
