I liked vitali to begin with he had spirit and gusto back in the day, after all he had the baals to get in with lewis, meaning he had the baals of Bruno and tommy Morrison (and lasted about as long as they did so was the same level as Bruno and morrison roughly). He was a good contender as either of them, and deserved to be a minor titlist eventually.

But when he lost his soul after stepping up and subsequently racking up defeats, neither him nor his choice of opponent was ever the same. A bit part titlist with an artificially extended career by dint of tag teaming.

best win - 38 year old out of retirement unfit corrie sanders, who failed at the top level a decade earlier in his heyday - that pretty much says it all. I'm trying to think of other titlists whose best win is a similar level. Theres few, and they are all minor eggs...but kliturds give vitali a free pass to greatness for it time and again.

Good honest post.:good Sanders was chubby at 225lbs when he beat Wlad, he was fat at 235lbs when Vitali beat him.

To be fair i'm not sure i've seen anyone claim "greatness" for him in here. The mainstays of the forum are a lot more educated than that.

Most accept and understand that his resume isn't the deepest.. Doesn't mean he wasn't a very good HW who is a HOF lock and a top 3 of the last 15-20 years. I'm definitely part of the camp who view him as a H2H great, but that's speculative and not how fighters are rated in the history books.

Solis was top ten in most ratings. I don't know if that includes The Ring immediately before the fight--it might--but they've definitely had him ranked before.

By heavyweight criteria, Vitali was undoubtedly an all-time great. For Christ's sake, a lot of people are arguing Ali to be #1 of all-time, when his resume can hardly be included in top 50 among all weight divisions.

Who has a better resume at heavyweight than Ali?

That's irrelevant, who has a better resume at heavyweight. The point is how many non-heavyweights have better resumes, is it 50 or more?

P.S. Not sure if this is what was asked, but Solis was ranked #10 by the Ring magazine on March 14, 2011, five days before the fight with V. Klitschko. Champion: W. Klitschko, #1 V. Klitschko, 2. Haye, 3. Povetkin, 4. Adamek, 5. Chagaev, 6. Chambers, 7. Boytsov, 8. Dimitrenko, 9. Arreola, 10. Solis. He was replaced by Pulev at #10 on March 20.

Solis and Chisroa were in the top ten when Vitali beat them. We have been over this before, you're brain dead.:lol:

Briggs won the WBO world title just a few years before Vitali beat him, and hasn't lost since.

Williams was in there because he beat Tyson.

Every champion has weak title defenses. When they happen, the champion should dominate as Vitali did....but in his case he was in his very late 30's or 40's!

PS: Keep up with the lies. You have openly said you didn't like Klitschko and could not wait for him to retire.

You are correct. Hate and ignorance are difficult to reason with.
