his Legacy? He made it possible for his younger brother to establish lineage by eliminating the foes who had already beaten him as well some of the challengers who were less palatable..
Negative. Chisora was never ranked in the ring top 10 in his entire life. Solis was NOT a top tener when he fought Vitali. He entered briefly in 2013 after beating Arich ,Larson and Spaglum. He couldn't even beat Leif L****n. That result was a robbery. Since he beat Sam Peter , Vitali fought just TWO top 10 Rankers. FACT. Bermane Stiverne is still ranked at #6. Does that mean Wilder is on the road to greatness ??? :roflatsch
How is it irrelevant? He is either number one or 2 all time at heavyweight according to just about anybody whose opinion matters. How many have Vitali in their top ten? So one week at number 10 WOW! My point is ,and it doesn't matter a damn how you dress it up, half of Vitali's challengers were sh*t!
How did he dominate? He beat 2 top teners in 4 years. That's like saying Wilder is dominating the HW division right now. Is Wilder dominating right now??
So you want to answer a question with a question. Senya says he was ranked number 10 for one week.:think Whoop de doo!
They were updating the rankings weekly on the Ring magazine official site (and continue to do so at http://ringtv.craveonline.com/ratings ). The one for March 14, 2011, was among the few I copy/pasted at the time (I got tired of it and stopped saving them a month later). For ratings ended March 14, 2011. Heavyweight Limit: none 10. Odlanier Solis Country: Cuba (Miami) Record: 17-0 (12 KOs) Ranking: This Week: 10 | Last Week: 10 | Weeks On List: 2
That was his brother Rainman, try and keep up! Every champion has weak title defences but not 50% of them!
I wasn't debating Ali's all-time ranking among the heavyweight. I used Ali as an example to show that the criteria for ranking the heavyweight cannot be too strict, when it's argueable #1 hardly has a resume to be included in top 50 among all weights.
Is says right here that he wasn't in the top 10. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/The_Ring_Magazine's_Annual_Ratings:_2011 Stop typing stuff and post a source. A copy and paste job only reverts back to this thread.
