For the third time I tell you, don't change my words. Do you have comprehension problems?
You don't need to tell me who Rahman and Sanders are. I saw most of their fights and some of them at the time, which I doubt you could have. I see you're fairly new here and a bit disrespectful. Are you over 25? I don't argue with children.

No one is arguing you're the one typing in caps and getting flustered for literally no reason.

You're accusing me of being disrespectful ? Yet I haven't done anything to you ? Other than not agree with your assessment on the fight.

How it was is Byrd was higher ranked than any opponent Vitali beat before his semi retirement.

And Byrd would be the best name that Vitali has beaten at any point in his career.

Whatever the reason is that Vitali didn't face Byrd that doesn't change the above.

It's a shame Vitali got injured so much he could have done a lot more.

Young is the only one that really stands a chance, and he most likely loses a decision via being too passive. The rest get absolutely ran over ranging from low - mid difficulty.

Wild to think Vitali who was the 2nd best of “the worst HW era” is almost unanimously picked to wreck the 70s.

Vitali could be the most overrated heavyweight ever, looking at his poor resume.

Vitali stans think he was the only boxer ever to throw a 1- 2

In reality he was no better or worse than gerrie coetzee

Yep that’s by design, if it included those guys then these would be really long discussions we’ve had 1000x we’ve only had this 100x - this thread is more to bash the contenders of the “greatest era” then the champions.

I don’t know if he’s overrated for people thinking he’d beat pip squeaks like Norton, Quarry and Shavers… all this thread suggests is he’d be clearly in the top HWs of the “strongest” era - where? Not the point of the thread - yet.

Sure. Just saying less people would agree with the idea of Vitali sweeping if you included those 4.

How it was is that Vitali was crowned Ring champion for beating Sanders.

How it was is that Don King didn’t even want Ruiz and Byrd to unify against each other.
