Vitali is happy to defend his title. He says it wasn't easy. Good showing from Chisora. He was in great shape to make it the full 12. He doesn't want to make excuses. It was just difficult. He says he is lucky Chisora punches slowly, because if he had more speed he might have been in some trouble.

When asked about whether it was his toughest battle in a while (since Lennox) he acknowledges that Chisora did some good work to the body, but that getting hit in the stomach doesn't bother him.

He respects Chisora as a fighter but not really as a person. He is not a gentleman. He wishes he knocked him out.

Vitali is asked what he plans to do now looking ahead at age forty.

    Does he want Haye?

"It will be a GREAT fight!"

He says Haye is unpredictable. One day he wants it and will agree to terms, and the next he doesn't.

Vitali WANTS it. "Let's do it!"

He would also give Chisora a rematch and knock him out "someday...definitely".

    No immediate plans to retire.

Vitali says he is just happy to still have his green belt, with the legacy that includes Lewis, Tyson, and Ali.

Very good HW fight which is rare this day in age. I gave V. Klit 8-4 over Derek. Derek C. fought a good fight and landed some good punches just was not busy enough.

Haye insists that Vitali himself may indeed want it but Berndt Boente doesn't want Klitschko vs. Haye, because Vitali has slow feet and David would be too quick for him and would knock him out. He spouts out some conspiracy theories about Boente supposedly trying to have security eject Haye from the venue.

Tbh I'm a bit disappointed in Chisora, I think he could have done more and I thought he did more in Helenius fight, should have let his hands go a bit more.

That was an excellent fight. I scored it for Klitschko, but barely, 6-5-1 in rounds, and 115-114 in points. I had Chisora sweeping rounds 5-8 and winning round 12. Klitschko's jab went missing, and he surely wasn't used to fighting pressure opponents, but otherwise I have no idea why the fight wasn't a blowout. I certainly hope Vitaly isn't finally showing his age, because he's one of my very favorite fighters. His words in the postfight interview have me hoping he plans to remain active. As for Chisora, if he keeps working hard and improving, he WILL be a World Champion someday.

Maybe he looks old because he's, you know, OLD.

Vitali's footwork still looks OK, but his arm speed is DEFINITELY not what it was even 2 years ago. There's no sting on his punches, and Vitali has always been all about his offense.

BN didn't lie about Magee vs. Markussen being shown; just about it being live.

It's airing now on tape delay.

    Round 1

Magee pushes forward and snaps a few fluttering right jabs into Markussen's face. Magee scores with a lead left from outside. Markussen is bashing with a high right hand and catching Magee just about the shoulder. Magee ducks in and lands to the body. Right hand by Markussen. Magee stands in front of him and is tickled by a left jab before diving in and chipping at the body again.

10-9 Magee, based on jabs and body shots outnumbering Markussen's couple of good right hands.

    Round 2

Markussen puts up a few measuring left jabs, then chops with a right as Magee is bouncing around to either side a few feet out. Markussen settles down and starts to roll his jab out, getting a feel for Magee's whereabouts and working on his accuracy. Magee dives in with lefts to the body. Quick lead lefts while circling. Markussen lunges with a right to the navel but Magee quickly dances back. Magee scrapes along the ropes and tucks up to block a right hand. Right jabs shaken out by Magee, and then a left as Markussen tries to move in on him and trap him on the ropes. Markussen circles with him and they watch each other warily, nobody punching. Wavy left jab by Markussen, and a wild right missing and nearly pitching face first to the canvas. Magee spins him around and counters, ole! Body shots by Magee.

    20-18 Magee

    Round 3

Magee is scoring well with the right jab, using movement, and making Markussen miss his rights and now some wild left hooks in the mix as well. Markussen is trying to crouch down and spear his shots out with a spring in the legs. Magee is dancing around, countering, scoring.

    30-27 Magee

    Round 4

Magee scores high with right jabs and down low with left hand leads. Markussen is pushing forward, guard up but unable to get off and finding himself shoved back as Magee pushes in on him. Magee dances to his right and pops his jab. Markussen isn't even jabbing. 1-2 by Magee from outside. Long right jabs by Magee. Lunging left hand lead to the body by Magee, falling short. Head clash. Magee knocks up top with his left, blocked. Quick right jab by Magee. Another head clash. Nice right upper-hook and a left hand over the top by Magee up close.

    40-36 Magee
