Markussen is cut by the right eye, from one of the accidental clashes.

    Round 5

Magee shifts his weight forward and back, feet planted. Markussen tries to find an opening, moving in with his face hidden behind his gloves. Markussen now dances out to his left and looks to parry the Magee jab with his left. Markussen is staying outside but is hit by a left hand lead to the body while swerving to the ropes. Magee puts out his straight right jab, between Markussen's gloves but not really piercing through them. Double right hand by Markussen, spirited and forceful but not quick enough as Magee dances off to his right. Clubbing left by Magee while turning Markussen. Straight right jab scores to the face of Markussen. Left hand lead to the body sneaks just under a Markussen right hand and gets him on the lower lung, and Markussen is down!! On one knee. He takes the full count!!

    KO5!!!

The BN commentator had it two rounds apiece through four, as did all three judges. :huh

That's weird. Rounds 1 and 3 were closer than 2 and 4, but none really seemed at all convincing for Markussen.

Fight went like I expected it to. I didn't have Chisora winning one round although I could have given him the 8th.

Wow so this fight was actually good? Was it Chisoras style that bothered Vitali? From the sound of it was it a Frazier-like style he was using? Damn can't wait to see it later online.

Expected that kind of response and surely I'll run into many threads backing it up. Here's why I genuinely believe Haye has no chance.

To trouble, even this old version, of Vitali; affective consistent aggression is needed, stamina and a good chin. The reason why Chisora was able to trouble Vitali and tire him was his body punches, aggressive style and good chin. Just as Vitali admitted after the fight, if Chisora had speed to back his style of fighting, Vitali would have been in serious trouble. The reason why a solid chin is required against Vitali's style is because of his movement, Vitali constant moves and gives his opponents angles in order for him to land before having to take in return and that WILL happen with Haye if Haye decides to be aggressive.

What Haye lacks is chin and stamina, clearly. Haye will NOT have a consistent aggressive approach because he can't afford it, all Haye will do is fighting the way he did against Wladimir which is back off and jump him with big shots once or twice each round. That style WILL NOT slow Vitali down or tire him, it will only make him more confident knowing his opponent isn't active enough and is just stalling to let rounds go. Don't forget that Haye never had a consistent body attack in plan either nor did he attempt any serious body punches against Wladimir either, he is a 100% head-hunter. If Haye opens up to punches to take some he will be hurt or even knocked down the more punches he's forced to take, if that happens expect him to be discouraged and on the defensive all the way.

Haye will not do much against Vitali, if anything it will be a boring affair yet again with Haye throwing a few here and there to look good only to get outlanded in the process and eventually lose a decision. Haye doesn't have the stamina nor style to seriously trouble someone like Vitali. If anyone thinks one punch from Haye could end it or drop Vitali then think again.

It was a decent fight with good moments. If you watched it live you would think Vitali might actually get nailed and be in trouble sometime during the fight as he clearly looked tired, which makes it fun. But I wouldn't call Chisora's style Frazier-like, he was doing good but wasn't affective enough. He needed to let his hands go more often but didn't, then again surely Vitali's constant moving never gave him the position needed to land punches with power on them. Decent fight, you shouldn't miss it. Chisora might be inexperienced but he's no bum in my opinion.

Vitali fights with his mouth open all the time, more so lately.

Chisora lost because he just wasn't good enough, but make no mistake he was thoroughly and utterly completely dominated.

Too many Brits and Klitschko haters on ESB, they want to make Chisora out as doing better than he did.

Backing up someone and not landing doesn't win fights. Landing punches does, and VK did that with great consistency.

I watched the fight, but didn't score it. But. Chisora won max 3 rounds. Vitali fought his fight pretty much the whole way. Chisora didn't have a chance to win.
