He wouldn’t one shot him. He possibly could stun him and force a tko. Ruddock was vulnerable against anyone with range and power.

Ruddock pretty much outclassed throughout, un-dramatically stopped in 8

By far. The Bert Sugar wannabes in here want to point out the Briggs fight going 12 and how Vitali took 8 to get Sanders out. This is a NASTY style matchup for Ruddock. Look at how he fought!! He’d be there for that Vitali 1-2 and the range and height would be a problem for Ruddock. Vitali’s awkwardness would cause fits for Ruddock who wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed and wouldn’t adapt to Vitali’s unique style.

Vitali didn’t have that explosive power that The Duke had or Lewis but his punches were ALL heavy and thudding. You combine that with the awkward shots he’d be tagging Ruddock with from angles he wouldn’t be used to… yeah Vitali would hit him over and over with shots Ruddock’s not expecting or bracing for.

The dumb fight record math sometimes…:lol::lol: “This guy lasted this long against Vitali so he COULDNT knock Ruddock out!! Herrp Derrrp!!!” :wanker

Herbie Hide lasted how many rounds against the supposed MURDERER Riddick Bowe yet Vitali shut his brain off in two. But Vitali still is just an “Arm Puncher” according to some here. ****ing real geniuses I swear

Hide was on the floor half a dozen times against Bowe any time Bowe touched him he fell to the canvas he's also known to be one of the least durable Cruiserweight/Heavyweights.

So i'm not sure what point you're trying to make using glass chin Hide as an example of his durability being on the floor 6 times vs Bowe but it's not a very good point "genius".

Also I never said Vitali couldn't stop Ruddock but your "prediction" of 3 or 4 rounds is utterly ludicrous. Vitali is not a big puncher and mostly all his notable stoppages were in the 2nd half of the fight from an accumulation of punishment.

Yes using "examples" of Vitali's notable stoppages being extended into the 2nd half of the fight which was quite the norm for Vitali is really "dumb" logic. Especially when it disproves your original prediction of an early stoppage of Ruddock to be way off the mark yeah you've got me there.....

As for Vitali not being an arm puncher yes he is he has a lean back style from his kickboxing days and doesn't get full bodyweight into his punches. Yes he is quite heavy handed naturally but he does not get full body weight into his shots hence he is more of an arm puncher and stops his opponents due to his high workrate for a big man and accumulation of punishment.
