For me it’s hard to put an exact time on Vital prime as he has fought a steady stream of average fighters Sanders is his best win and Lewis is the best guy he fought. Whereas Evander had a clear prime were he fought at a very high level and showed without doubt that he could tangle with any fighter throughout history that’s why I have to go with Evander to take a decision over Vitali.

I think the peak version of VK is when he obliterated Johnson....

awsome match up - a couple of years ago I would say Holy in a heart beat but my respect for the klits has grown and now I see it as a battle of wills and a real 50/50.

Would even go as far as to say the home town fighter wins a SD.

bad style match up for vander. Vitali doesnt drop a lot of rds. I dsay Holy takes about 3-4 rds.
    9-3 8-4 7-5 UD vitali

Fair enough, I guess that’s a prime of sorts probably the best point in his carrier. Also I would point out Holy barely dropped a round to Holmes and Forman two big men with good jabs and all-time great standing. For me this is much more impressive than the endless amount of rounds Vitali wins against a host of average fighters. I only point it out because people are saying Vitali does not loose many round but in his prime Evander fought tooth and nail for every round against better comp.:bbb

Holy wins, too much, speed, stamina and skill for Vitali to overcome.

Vitali beats him in a tough/rough fight.
I dont think Holyfield deserves a spot in the all time great placings, he got beaten twice by Lewis, twice by Bowe(3 times if fan man hadnt broken Bowes concentration IMO), and has 2 massively overrated(at that point) Tyson. Tyson would have anihalated Evander earlier in his career.

Vitali is very accurate, and importantly when fighting Holyfield, is very strong in the clinch. Need to tie Holyfield up or the heads coming in hard.

    Vitali by decision IMO.

How the **** does a non puncher like Vitali stop someone as durable as Holy....

Holy UD. Byrd was beating Vitali, Holy has all of the tools needed.
