Watch the Sanders fight. He gets clipped and runs from one side of the ring to another faster than Usain Bolt. The footage is there is you watch it.
Vitali thought to take the fight to Sanders , but he got hurt badly , maybe dropped its debatable , he then fought out the remainder of the fight avoiding any exchanges.
There's nothing wrong with that strategy , he was better on the backfoot , i point it out to prove that he did in fact run from exchanges.

You can also watch him running from exchanges in the Derrick Chisroa fight. Chisora pushed Vitali back. He very rarely stood his ground against Chisora.
Just two examples to highlight more of your dishonesty.

Vitali was 28 when he quit in a fight he was winning.Vitali was33lbs heavier than his opponent and 5 inches taller.
Evander was 48 when he quit in a fight in which he had nothing.
Williams was 34lbs heavier than Holyfield.

Why do you always bring up fights when Holyfield was a grandpa? You do realize that this thread is about prime Holyfield, do not you? I do not know if you realize that Vitali has never fought any fighter who was as good as prime Hoyfield. This is not an old and out of shape Lennox Lewis. On top of that you get your facts wrong about the fghts with bowe and lewis.

Comparing Williams to Bryd would be like comparing sedimentary rock to a diamond.

Since you are fixated on weight, like you often are, Vitali is 250. Holyfield, about 210.-215 Vitali is 35-40 pounds heavier and 5 1/2 inches taller.

Using your words, this fantasy fight is all in Vitali's advantage, correct? A quick yes or no will do. :)

If you want to use common opponents in Larry Donald or Vaugh Bean. Vitali whipped both. Holyfield lost to Donald and looked like crap beating Bean. Simple facts, Mcvey.

    We might actually agree here!

Pfp evander is the better fighter and by far, but h2h i think that Vitali wins this. In a serie of 3 fights i think that vitali would win 2 times

Holyfield lost to Moorer at age 31. He was floored and in some trouble ( aided by the ref ) by Bert Cooper at age 29, and looked terrible beating Vaughn Bean at age 35. Are those better examples on Holy's age? Explain why he looked so bad in these fights? Vitali beats all three guys and would look much better doing it. Infact he whipped Bean,

Holyfield at age 28 beat Foreman at age 42. Holyfield at 29 beat Holmes at age 42, and had some issues doing it. Seems like ehe uses his title matches on old men, and Bert Cooper.

Those cross comparisons are rather confusing and hardly prove anything. Fact is Holyfield has the better wins on his record. Is your point that Vitali has looked dominant in his wins? Well, I can acknowledge to that. But keep in mind that those opponents were not on the level of prime Holyfield. And neither were the two opponents who beat him, Byrd or Lewis.

Prime Holyfield fought few prime opponents. Holyfield at age 28 beat Foreman at age 42. Holyfield at 29 beat Holmes at age 42, and had some issues doing it. One opponent who wasn't; even worthy of a Vitali title shot was Cooper, who had a prime Holyfield in some trouble.

Moorer was a good win a bad loss. 1-1. Cooper almost derailed Moorer by the way.

Bowe was in his prime, look at how badly be beat Holyfield. IMO Bowe was above the level of what Vitali beat, however I don't think Bowe would beat Vitali. There have been treads and polls here before on Bowe vs Vitali. Check them out.

Bowe being a great inside fighter helped him to defeat Holyfield. The same can be said for Lewis who used an uppercut to stun Holyfield a few times.

Its well known that Vitali had no inside skills at all , and on top of that he kept his hands low and threw the punches from his waist. A fast counter puncher would be his worst enemy , which Holyfield was.
You don't take these factors into account because you don't understand how the sport works and pick purely based on who you want to win.
You put more effort into Holys losses during his mid 40s than any sort of scientific breakdown regarding skill.
When the hard questions get asked you often run away from the debate

Are you still debating resume? Vitali's best win is Corrie Sanders. Enough said.

    You're not following me.

Resume for Holyfield To judge a resume you must include wins and losses, and how they happened. A resume is not just a best win.

    1. Holyfield got his rear end kicked vs Bowe. Lucky to be 1-2
    2. Lewis proved better, should be 0-2 here.
    3. Combined record vs the best he fought 1-4! How is this helping his resume, it doesn't rather it shows his place.

    1. He's 1-1 vs Moorer and 1-1-1 vs John Ruiz, which shows you he's a lot closer to their level.
    2. Combined here is 2-2-1! Vitali is clearly above Moorer and Ruiz

I haven't checked, but I think Vitali beat more actively ranked Ring Magazine competitors than Holyfield did ,and sure looked much better doing it. I've already gone over Holy's shaky performances. Vitali had no shaky performances, only a ripped up shoulder and a cut stopped him and he was in the lead in both fights. Holy was actually cut more often than Vitali was.
