Vitali Klitschko vs. Gomez

I can't believe he is the mandatory this is sad. Gomez was a very good cruiserweight but at heavyweight he lacks knock out power.

 

I once heard Gomez defeated Vitali in the ametuers

 

While I don't think anybody on the board can give you a definite answer to this rumor, one thing is almost certain. If the two meet (which I highly doubt) Gomez will not see the final bell.

I guess that beating up that russian bum Virchis and getting knocked out in the first round is enough these days.

Then you see that Toney-Thompson is not even an eleminator. Where is the logic in all this.

They are both contenders.

Virchis was never a contender. He is a bum and has never even faced anybody.

Actually Gomez also beat McCall.

Again, I highly doubt VK will fight Gomez because he had already stated that the only two fights that interest him are LL and Valuev.

Thompson just had a title shot and was knocked out. He WAS a contender. Neither Toney or Thompson are contenders for anything. Toney's beat win at Heavyweight is Dominick Guinn.
