Good fight, with Vitali trying to do damage when Mike is outside and trying to tie him up whenever he gets inside. The problem is Mike will get inside frequently and he'll get his shots off. I think Mike will take a lot of lumps in the process, but he'll land more and more as the fight goes on and eventually end it. Mike is also capable of doing very well from the outside, he was always able to land his jab even against much taller and longer guys in his heyday, just another thing that makes it damn near impossible to hold him off. You might be able to do it if you give up on offense entirely, but I can't see Vitali doing that. He'll be in it to win it.

Tyson would walk right thru Wlad, imho. I don't think Wlad is anywhere near as tough as Vitali.

    Interesting matchup.

I can't pick the winner. Tyson does more things better than Vitali. But Vitali has a huge size advantage, and knows exactly how to use it.

Tyson usually had a psychological advantage over his opponents. He was an animal and they were scared of him. I don't think that would work with Vitali. He is also an animal, but a cold blooded one. The longer the fight went, the more psychological advantage I would give to Vitali.

I can picture Tyson's superior movement and speed allowing him to get inside, and as Vitali leans backwards, Tyson would punish his body. Taking away his legs, dropping his arms (he keeps them lowish anyway).

I can also picture Vitali frustrating Tyson through the early rounds, losing but also not taking too much damage. Then gaining momentum as the fight wears on, taking a decision at the end.

If I had to pick, I would lean towards Tyson. But I wouldn't put any money on it either way.

    Not really.

I see the Tyson that won the HW title just dominating Vitali in any match up.

Tyson was built taking out people who were taller than him and always knew what it took to take them to his level.

Right hook to the body, right uppercut to the face.

Not saying that this would utterly destroy any HW in history, but 20 y/o Tyson had the skill set to give anyone fits.

Klitschko haters can't stand it that Vitali is beating up all their heroes, so they make believe that fighters from the past would have beaten them up, but that is pure fantasy. Dream on Void fans.

That does not make it true.

    You must prove it.

I must prove what? That I think he will win?

How do I prove my thoughts?

Or do I have to prove that Tyson would win? If I could prove that, then I wouldn't say that I 'think' he would win. I would say that I 'know' he would win.
