Vitali Klitschko vs "Iron" Mike Tyson, Prime-4-Prime

Wow no one actually rushed to say TYSON KO1 or TYSON BY MURDER
Tyson could land a bomb and end it early.. but I would put my money on Klitschko. Tall, strong, tough, knows how to control the distance, clicnh and keep a jab in his opponent's face.
He could pull a Lewis and frustrate the **** out of Tyson, wins by decision though.

 

True although I'd consider Wlad to be a much better fighter technically than Vitaly against a fighter as Tyson you won't survive unless you have the chin, now I don't think Wlad's chin is all that terrible either probably more of a mental issue for him but it certainly isn't great.

Mike Tyson between 1986 to 1989, would have been a formidable opponent for any champion, regardless of who we are talking about. When it comes to resume, Tyson is head over heels better than Vitali Klitschko, but in a head to head match-up, Vitali has what I feel to be the right blend of size, reach, chin, power and style to give him a lot of trouble, and perhaps even upset him... I'm not sold on the idea one way or another, but I think its a very tough match.

 

Vitali easily. Tyson the softest HW of all time. Never beat anyone with a pulse, and would get drilled by a bigger, stronger, tougher fighter like Vitali.

Vitali wouldn't be intimidated and that takes a good chunk of Tyson's aura of invincibility away. Vitali with his height and reflexes is harder to hit than Holyfield or Douglas and won't be knocked out with one punch. Fighters who are slick technicians and defensive wizzards would bother Vitali the most, if someone goes for the KO against Vitali, he is at his best. Vitali by late TKO.

Tyson stops him, probably on his feet after a barrage of unanswered punches.

Unlike an overweight Lewis at the end of his career, Mike would actually follow up when he has Vitali hurt.

 

This is the most realistic version of a hypothetical Vitali - M.Tyson match-up I have ever seen.

 

I'd give a prime Vitali 6 wins out of 10. Prime Tyson manages to win and stop Vitali 4 out of 10 times.

I don't see a Tyson win going to the scorecards. Vitali throws too much, is too awkward to be outpointed by a midget Tyson. Mike can only win by stoppage, probably if he can force cuts and injuries on Vitali.
