Klitschko by boring UD. Toney would be too slick defensively to KO but wouldn't be able to land much on Klitschko. :boxing:

Huge height and reach advantage, awkward style and a very good jab, clear wide UD for Vitaly.

Only road to victory for Toney would be Vitaly injuring himself again

Don't forget that in these fantasy matches Vitali has a 49% chance of tearing his shoulder and a 49% chance of his face randomly falling off ;)

Fat James would be in trouble. Vitali would not let him last the distance.

Only threat to Vitali here is his dodgy shoulder.

Toney sparred with both Klitschko brothers around 2003-2004 and held his own.

Toney's campaign at heavyweight is underrated. He probably loses on points but he's a live dog in there. His ability to make you miss in tight quarters could trouble a guy as long as vitali

He never sparred Wlad. And from what I understand Vitali doesn’t go as hard as Wlad in sparring.

Vitali adjusts to toney’s style and wins a comfortable UD. Wladimir would have knocked james the **** out.

If James Toney has DLH as a promoter then Toney by KO after throwing sand in Vitaly's eyes and kicking him in the balls.

By the time Toney got to heavyweight, his chance was to get his opponent to fight his fight.

If you were naive enough to get suckered into a phone booth fight, Toney was still dangerous.

Vitali had a high boxing and general IQ. As he sparred with Toney, I'm sure he knew what Toney was a master at.

I cant see Vitali letting himself get suckered into Toney's type of fight.

Vitali was to smart to do that. He was too skilled to have to do that.

Tough call....James Toney is one of my favorite HWs during the early 2000s and i always liked Vitali better than Wlad.

I think Toney's style is highly underrated and underappreciated at HW. Vitali had incredible reach and power so it's very conceivable to think he could dominate Toney from long range.....but I can never forget what Byrd did to him, even though Byrds defensive style was not at all similar to Toney's.

Toney could lay on the ropes and slip punches all day from regular size HWs...
Unfortunately Vitali was not a regular size HW. I hate to say it, but I see Vitali dominating this fight from the outside and taking a dull and uninspiring Decision.

Vitali UD. Toney would win 2 or 3 rounds. I’d go with Vitali 118-110 or 117-111
