He gave Lewis a great fight, staggered him & took Lewis best. Lewis opted out of a big money rematch & Vitali realized his own ability and looked great disposing of Kirk Johnson in his next fight. Corrie Sanders was a dangerous fighter & may have spelled trouble for Lewis as well, he was avoided. Vitali went on to be pretty dominant and he beat some decent fighters as champ. Injuries forced him out but came back strong and was a solid force
so...in these two instances where the klits get their heads kicked in, you decide that its because they'd have beaten lewis.....rather than arriving at the obvious conclusion that the klitschkos werent good enough when trying to step up a bit. yeah i can see where you are coming from. anyone else gets their head kicked in by a retired nobody, you'd say they werent all that.
Are you saying you felt Lewis kicked Klitschko's head in? I dont see your point. I thought Vitali had a great start, unfortunatly he recieved a very bad cut but I still had Vitali ahead at the time of the stoppage which was a good call. Vitali fought the best in his division his top contenders and he did well dismantling them. Didnt Lewis fight tyson and Holyfield and Mercer past prime? Also Lewis was 38 but the rematch was for significant coin, had Vitali been an easy fight LL would have rematched?
^ Mr Davis is going to learn that arguing with some special-needs people is a big fat waste of time. Ask me how I know
If you're talking strictly infantry, the biggest advantages for the modern armies would not be their personal weaponry but their body armor, optics, and aerial intel. If you took away a soldier's M4 and gave him an STG 44 fitted with modern optics he wouldn't really be any worse off. Past about 200 meters an M4 is actually nowhere near as good as an old M1 or BAR, or possibly even a bolt action Springfield, and up close it's no better than a Thompson or a grease gun if your enemies don't have body armor.
, if i literally kicked your head in you'd have blood dripping from your face like vitali and need hospital. So yes the metaphor is fine. Not that I would do such a thing or indeed manage it. course you dont see my point when you can write that he fought the best in his division. vitalis best wins are retired sanders who couldnt get into contention his whole prime career, and 6 round sam. Best in division. mm.
Vitali always fought who he was mandated to fight by the WBC , Kirk Johnson 34-1-1,Corrie Sanders 39-2 (off KO of Vlad) Danny Williams 32-3(fresh KO over Tyson) retired with injuries for 4 years but came back at 37 to defeat the once beaten Sam Peter 30-11st to stop Sam, then he tko'd Juan GOMEZ 44-1,Areola27-0, beat Kevin Johnson22-0, 45-2 Sosnowski, dominated Shannon Briggs 51-5, KO'd 17-0 Solis in 1, then stpped 44-1 Adamek, beat Chisora and 21-0 Charr and retired at 41 years of age with a record of 45-2-0 41KO's Not Bad considering the co-champ was his brother, he tried to fight Valuev but Valuev refused I think In large Vitali fought a better class of opponents then did Larry Holmes and others & even in his losing fights he was ahead on points until injury. Vitali pursued a rematch with Lennox but Lewis turned down the big money fight because his mother had a bad vibe of the outcome.
