It was right to stop the fight , Lewis beat him up. Vitali would have died in the ring at Dempsey or Frazier era They would not stop the fight against Lewis , in later rounds Vitali - covered with blood , would collapse , staggers through the ring and is either a life long marked or dead. Just imagine Lewis had the same kind as Max Baer + oldschool rules of Baer that night. I say for real that Vitali would not have survived. So for the Klitschko nuthuggers be happy that the fight was stopped. By the way the Chin of Max Schmeling (look at him vs Baer) is 10 times more resistant than Vitalis.
That was not the big uppercut, clearly like the others just posting b,.s trying to convince yourselfs lewis had some sort of momentum....he didn't!
At EXACTLY 1.18 of this clip Lewis hits Kleechko with an uppercut. Kleechko holds. The ref breaks the action, it then resumes, and Kleechko immediately holds again for dear life. Your interpretation of this FACT is as worthless as you are. It happened, and after that for the remainder of the round Kleechko's shots had less than nothing on them. Interestingly enough, at the start of the clip it shows the percentage of shots thrown and landed in round 5. Lewis 54% Kleechko 39% So keep on dreaming.
Correct I goyt the round wrong...but where is the holding on for dear life ?He threw a combo right back at him after the break ? You are watching with beer goggles on or you simply don't know what being hurt is...if anything both are exhausted but vitali is the one punching afterwards. At 1: 45 Lewis eats a upper cut right hand left hook,he was hit numerous times with combos in this round After that uppercut which AGAIN didn't faze Vitali. At 2:17 lewis again eats a huge over hand right 2 :48 another right hand from vitali..pushes Lewis backwards and lands a slick left on the inside...lewis landed a good right hand holding behind Vitalis neck and before the round ends lands a good uppercut...who won that round...probably lewis by a hair and that's the only round,if you really want me to go round for round it wont go so good for Lewis that's a promise! :deal
Your being in the Ray Charles / Stevie Wonder group of observers is of no interest to me. It is there for all to see your boy is clinging on to Lewis desperately after the uppercut, twice, from the same punch. Now if you want to go round for round feel free, because like you, it will mean less than nothing. You will go on punches thrown and landed and claim Kleechko won the fight on that basis. I will counter with connect percentages, and the effects of those punches. FACT. Your boy can't punch anything like as hard as Lewis which is why he was the one who ended up with a face like a cow's kunt, and got stopped in 6 rounds. End of thread.
It,isn't about who hit harder its who was getting belted most of the time and that would be wobbly Lewis through the fight.:yep you guys are hooked on lewis its pathetic the thread isn't even about Lewis its about Frazier fighting him....:nut
Vits is the one who quit, not his corner. He said its over, the pain is to much. Frazier did in fact want to continue and it was Futch who stopped the fight. I think youre a bit confused about the facts.
Yeah ok. Go the 41 minute mark of this video and tell me again what Vits says. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m51pATaXdjw
The corner wanted him to continue. He quit, at 45 .49 he tells his corner," it hurts too much ,its over." Byrd had 10 days notice for that fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P795Pm82Zvk
superheavyweight vits was stopped by former LHW pro? wow. another precedent set by the K bros. no wonder they got so famous.
