ahh the old klitshcko excuse. "he underestimated his opponent". which, by some magical contrivance, only occurs when they lose.

....they never underestimate a fatboy that any fool could crush of course, they are always in tip top shape for them!

so, you are saying that it was specifically the previous muscle injury that stopped the fight, and not the rotator cuff tear?

vitali was clearly using both arms up till the end of the fight.

no more of this one arm BS.

its actually very easy to argue that byrd was one of his top five to date, never mind so far.

ahhhaa so Dr Ghul, he didn't have a torn rotator cuff at all? It was all down to another injury.

its your argument to try and win. If you didn't want to win it why did you start it?

This is really incredible. Vitali whether we heard he himself say it or it was interpreted said when asked if he wanted to continue....."no, it hurts too much". End of story. As much as I admire the man for his work ethic and performances in the ring this is an incredibly huge black mark on his career in terms of ATG status.

why do you want me to ask the doctor if you've already told me?
Answer - Because you haven't told me already!...

so tell me, don't quit like vitali. DId he quit due to a torn cuff or was it some other recurring injury?
Vitali claims it was a cuff injury, but you seem to claim different.

why are you answering some fictitious question that I haven't asked you?

so.... according to you, byrd is shyte when vitali, the brother of the worse resume, fights him....

....but a few months later hes one of wlads best ever!

Byrda ability didn't change overnight or over a few months. what a crok of shyte you are trying to argue here.

Well-- Frazier didn't exactly push Futch out of the way or protest him calling off the fight, and the stakes were MUCH higher.

Vitali's injury or any fighters injury should never factor into a fantasy fight.

If you want to hold the injury against him Perry, you should check the hall of fame. It's full of men who quit, and in some cases had lesser injuries or capitulated much faster once their injury occurred.

Some names of the quit club include Sam Langford, Jack Johnson, Harry Wills, Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Ezzard Chalres, and Mike Tyson just to name a few!

Johnson retired in two fights when aged respectively 48 and 50 years old. He went 10 rounds with a broken arm when he was 34.Vitali quit against Bryd when he was a prime 28 years old. Robinson did not quit, he couldn't stand up any more to equate his condition with Vitali's is ludicrous Vitali made a conscious decision to quit, Robinson was out of it.. Tyson never quit in a fight.

If you watch that bout it looks as if Ray was unconscious on his stool when the bout was stopped.

Vitali isn`t knocking Frazier out. It`s going to go the distance more than likely. Laughable to compare Vitali`s punching power to that of George Foreman. I don`t care how big he is very few heavyweights can crack like George could.
I`m not saying Vitali can`t win the fight, it`s possible but I would lean towards Joe Frazier by decision based on his workrate and bodypunching Frazier gets inside against Vitali better than he would against Wlad. I don`t think Joe can knock out him out either. Just two very tough guys.

Frazier on points in a close, rough fight.
