Norton didn't do well vs hitters, and never faced a man Vitali's size who can box and hit. Bad match up for Norton. LOL at Mcvey for picking Norton.

As much as I really do like Ken Norton, I can't see him being very effective against Vitali Klitscko.
Vitali waited to counter you with arm punches . Norton's problems arose with guys who fought aggressively and made him back up.Chisora a swarmer without real pop went the distance with Vitali,Norton hits harder than Chisora and has an excellent jab. Vitali's power is overated too, he couldnt floor Chisora or Briggs despite hitting them flush several times.. His resume is stacked with mediocre heavyweights, and when he encountered adversity he quit.
Well, at least I see where McVey is coming from now. I disagree on Vitali's supposed lack of power. While his KO percentage is indeed flattering, (indicating a shattering one punch power that he never had), Vits hit plenty hard enough. He put Briggs in ICU ffs. I think Norton finds himself out-dimensioned here, and Big Klitschko could go rough if he needed to. I think the chins might be a deciding factor too. Norton's is decidedly inferior to Vitali's, even if we go with the line that Vits doesn't have big power.
Briggs, who took a better shot as his career went on had broken facial bones and was several beaten. His corner should be ashamed of themselves for not stopping the fight. Briggs went into a coma, and the doctors could not wake him up. It was touch and go for a while. See round seven, Vitali hits Briggs with a punch that sends him flying backward. Briggs said Vitali hit harder than Geroge Foreman! Is Foreman's power overrated too? It is convenient for you to leave out that Vitali beat Chisroa with a torn shoulder when Chisora was at his best and Vitali was 40! Wait, I'm talking to a guy who picked Haye to beat Wlad, and will do his best to degrade accomplished white heavies. No need to type further...
I tend to lean towards Vits height and reach factors giving him the edge, Norton was dangerous in his prime so who knows for sure :think
Lennox Lewis stopped a prime Briggs not the near 40 years old walking wardrobe who took countless flush shots from Vitali Chisora was ko'd by David Haye an ex lhvy. Foreman's power is not overated but Vitali's definitely is! Your insinuation,[ one you have repeated several times,] that I am biased against white fighters falls apart when the fact that Jack Dempsey is my favourite fighter and that I am English and White is revealed . You on the other hand champion the Klits and Jim Jeffries, three white heavyweights and slate Johnson,Lewis,Louis ,and Frazier all black champions and you are white ,well white on the outside ,you are canary yellow on the inside!
One can make an argument that Vitali's power is overrated. Still, even if you buy in to that premise, I don't see any bigger punchers Ken actually beat. Or lasted against, for that matter. Bobick? Quarry? Stander? I don't see them as bigger punchers than Vitali. Bobick was also out before he really landed anything to test Ken's chin.

Briggs became much bigger and stronger as his career progressed. You're ignoring that. He took flush shots from Ibragimov who can hit, and Liakhovich who is a solid puncher. Vitali stopped Levi Billups in two rounds. Lewis took the same man 10 rounds. :deal As I told you Vitali was 40 when he fought Chisora and also had an injured shoulder. :deal To quote Briggs, Vitali hit harder than Foreman. Vitali's power is so overrated he stopped Puritty and Donald two very durable and hard fighters to stop! He had the highest KO % in history for a while, which was dulled a bit by age. You need to get out of here. You're a disgrace. And you pick Norton to beat him! LOL Norton lasted three rounds vs Shavers and Foreman combined. As soon as Vitali hits Norton flush, he'd come undone. Heck, Scott Ledoux had Norton in trouble. And a cruiserweight before that knocked him out. Norton is best matched vs non-punchers.
What you are ignoring is Briggs was totaly washed up when he fought Vitali and his defence was non -existant he took flush punches all night and never looked like going down. Put your hood back on.
The match should have been a TKO. Briggs, who I have met is very sturdy. The guy could have 20" neck and 14'-15" fists. He was never known for defense. Vitali badly hurt him. Briggs won't disagree with that at all. Briggs was one year younger than Vitali and had won 14 of his last 15 fights. Furthermore he had not been stopped in the past 12 years. I suggest you wear a hoodie to NY and buy a black lives matter shirt. It fits your narrative to a T. Learning is a lost cause with you here.
Briggs also said such gold as "lets go champ" plenty. the reason that hes ignoring it is because its not true. unless of course you mean that Briggs got fatter, which is true, and fat is proof on planet K of punching power. since when did performance against levi billups count as the standard by which to judge ko power?
