    HE,

Vitali only had one bad cut and it was vs. Lewis who might have used an illegal back hand to cause it. Vitali said he never had a cut prior to Lewis, and based on what I have seen in the AM's and Pro's, he's correct.

Fans underestimate Vitali's style and defense. He wasn't easy to hit. He was never close to being out boxed, up 4-2 vs Lewis, and ahead of Chris Byrd with a torn shoulder that happened in round two or three.

So even with a cut, or a shoulder injury, he outboxed the best.

He'd out box Norton too, use his size, and there's no way Norton takes his punches over 12 rounds.

Well the vast majority of this forum disagrees with you. Norton has been iced by opponents inferior to Vitali. You picked Norton to KO a guy who has never been knocked down in a pro fight. Your fanatic anti- klitschko bias discredits your opinions.

Don't be concerned with the poll. Be concerned about reality.

I picked Norton to stop a guy who retired twice rather than face Rahman and Stiverne - the two biggest punchers he would have fought outside Lewis.

There are too many negatives regarding Vitali to favour him over hall of famers.

He barely has a better record than Brian Neilson. Does Neilson destroy Norton too:nut

You honestly believe that Vitali's 1st retirement came because he was scared to fight Hasim Rahman, rather than the career derailing injuries he suffered in training? Wilder showed Stiverne wasn't very good. Herbie Hide, Corrie Sanders and Sam Peter were better, more dangerous fighters than that guy.

Vitali vs Neilsen prime 4 prime, wonder how that would go?:think

Dino is a clown. I told him he's not even smart enough to make a good hater and actually encourage him to post more because he brings the collective IQ of the other haters down and theirs isn't very high to begin with.

Let's look at who picked Norton.

Herolgee. No surprise there. Mr. Dagowhop. No surprise there. Mcvey, well he hates the Klitschko's and accomplished white heavies in general. No surprise there. Yet none of them can articulate a good reason why Norton would win.

Norton would be giving up a lot of height and weight. He had major chin issues vs. punchers as documented and would have a tough time landing on Vitali, who's very hard to catch, and wouldn't be able to take his punching for long. Heck a 188 pound Garcia KO'd him and Scott Ledoux out of all people had Norton floored at hurt. Neither hit in Vitali's zip code. Norton also lacked the power to hurt Vitali. He did not punch as hard as Lewis or Sanders. And he's aggressive putting him in harms way.

On top of that, Vitali is very active and near impossible to outpoint on the score cards, never losing more than three consensus rounds in his entire career even as a late 30's to 40+ year old fighter. Terrible match up for Norton.

    Good luck Kenny.

why u assuming none of these can tell you why Norton wins?

why u assuming the already posted arguments don't work? convenient for you to put your head in the sand on BOTH these issues.

If he is not durable in training camp , how can he be durable in battle. He proved he was not.

Vitali wanted no part of Rahman. He only came back when they coast was clear against 1 percenter -Sam Peter .

Rahman blew away Corrie Sanders , yet Sanders was better than Rahman:huh

This is what you get when you deal with a guy entrenched in Klitschko mania/ delirium.

Wilder beating Stiverne has no bearing on Vitali vs Stiverne whatsoever.

Vitali looked absolutely dreadful against bargain basket soup can Charr . His performance can only be described an an eyesore. He got out sensing a loss. Nothing wrong with that at all. He was 42 and realized the game was up.
Just don't do telling me he could have beaten Stiverne at that stage of his career

You're right Dino. Vitali Klitscko is a glass chinned - feather fisted bum with no skill and who'd get schooled by Quick Tillis if they ever fought... Happy? Now that you have that admission, there's no reason for you to EVER click on another Klitschko thread again.

Somebody who is hard to catch doesn't get his face ripped off by a sloppy , fat Lewis who had no timing whatsoever.

Small Johnson who had a semi- decent jab and not much else could not miss his dome. How does a bottom feeder like Kingpin make the great Vitality look like this

Sure Vitali trounces Norton in K2 fantasy land .

In reality , Norton is the most difficult fight of his career and if non moving stump Johnson can do that to him for 12 rounds - Norton doing a whole lot better isn't a question - its a fact.

You listed fights in which he received zero shots to the head as the reason why he has an iron chin.

Sounds ridiculous when said back to you doesn't it?

Actually if you watch those fights he took plenty of solid shots from some of those men, but what does it matter? They were feather fisted - no talent slouches themselves.. In fact, any fighter who turned pro after 1989 is a complete tomato can..

Arroela and Peter? Nah, you're wrong. They landed nothing on Vitali.

The fact is that his chin and never been through the rigors of a war or any sustained attack. The Lewis fight was the only fight his chin came under duress and that didn't end very well did it.

Never mentioned Areola. The rest of the guys I did mention landed solid shots which he took well. And the Lewis result had nothing to do with his chin.. But hey, you win.. VK sucks. Now you don't have to post on a Klit thread again.
