Johnson is a good boxer, but he don't seem to have much power.

But it's pretty slim pickins for Vitali, now, cause Haye/Valuev are unavailable at the moment. So he has no choice but to fight whatever is out there. It is good to see him stay this active. What a contrast to his old *fight once every 6-8 months* schedule.

The team of "King of Stink" Johnson will go after the winner of "Valubum vs. Gaye." Neither dude will want to meet V.K. in the ring.........

KJ is not even close to Vitali's class, he will be koed inside 6rds.

I think Vitali should have waited on the winner of Solis vs KJ, it would have made a more worthy opponent.

What about Maskaev, isn't Vitali supposed to defend the WBC belt against him in some kind of mandatory? I though he would opt to take that out of the way to have a free year of 2010.

Not sure about Maskaev I think the winner of DaVarryl Williams vs Ray Austin will be Vitali Mandatory.

Johnson loses by Massacre/KO. There isnt a fighter in the world right now that can go 12 rounds with Vitali. He stops anybody, either by KO or TKO. Johnson would be destroyed like everyone else.

    WAR VITALI

    Agreed, it will take time.

As for Johnson - Vitali, I am surprised but pleased that Vitali stays active. Johnson does not have the power or workrate to trouble Vitali so I won't watch the fight. Another easy win for Vitali.

Toney and Haye are the only challenges left for Vitali. Toney has first to prove that he is still world class by fighting a contender or two and Haye has to prove that he is by beating Valuev, but both will prove it IMO. Look forward for a Vitali - Toney fight in 2010 and a Vitali - Haye fight in 2011.

I think Vitali chose Johnson because he is american. Maybe HBO tunes in and Vitali gets in the US the legacy he deserves.

HBO does not have the budget, they won't televise it. I would rather watch Vitali-McCall than Vitali-Johnson. johnson is another young gun who has not proved anything. His best victory is vargas, come on...
