Vitali Klitschko vs. Mike Tyson prime for prime.

Jeeus Chris this thread is cancerous. It's a tough Stylistic matchup for Tyson no doubt. Vitali's leaning back will definitely throw Tyson off. but i will say Prime Mike Tyson is better than Sanders. And Vitali is better than Tucker. This is a 50/50 fight imo opinion. Tyson better be working the body or he wont be able to win

Ill trigger the Vitali Fans though.

People on here were a lot angrier a couple years ago.

I don't think the styles match up well. Lots of cliching and punches without the right leverage. I think early in his career Vitali loses, too stiff. Later on (for Vitali, same prime late 80s Mike in either case) he was a lot more flexible and reactive, which he would need.

 

For Tyson to win he’d need to slip inside, land vicious body shots and then reset by either weaving back out, or side stepping. Tyson didn’t have a good clinching game and Vitali would rag doll him if he tried to clinch. Tyson would have to break his body down literally. Broken ribs, liver shots... Vitali is human and can be stopped.

For Vitali to win he would have to avoid punching downward, since Tyson (5’10”) while in the peek a boo style was even lower while coming forward and punching down loses power. Vitali would have to time Tyson with uppercuts and “Body” shots that hit Tysons head.

Vitali wins 7 out of every 10 fights.

 

Prime Lennox Lewis > Tyson

 

Vitaly is not a good match up for Tyson.
