This wasn't prime Tyson. This was a self destructed bum in a fighters body. But that Douglas would have beaten Vitali. Vitali is too clumsy to be in there with powerful, crisp punchers like the old heavyweights were. Not these fukin clowns he's been fighting his whole career. Klit lost against the only legit fighter he ever faced and even then Lewis was past prime.

Yes but Tyson KO in 4. Do you really think a slow clumsy, off balance fighter wouldn't get obliterated by a extremely fast, explosive beast like Tyson?

I've always said the way to beat Vitali is to back him up, his footwork on the backfoot is not very good and he can't fight on the inside. He was past prime last night but Chisora's style made him very uncomfortable, so did the lowly Areola at times. Lewis when he came forward and threw the left hook made him very uncomfortable. Even Byrd managed to make him quit by backing him up. Tyson is 1 of the best come forward HWs in history if not THE BEST, he is a master of taking away the jab. The style is all wrong for Vitali, although I expect Vitali to adopt a Bonecrusher Smith holding strategy to go the distance I wouldn't be surprised if he took a massive onslaught being hit more than he's ever been hit and was ko'd

vitali had problems with byrds defense, combine an even better defense with a great offense and you have prime mike - vitali loses!

I would go with Tyson. He could cut the ring like no one else, and keeping him at distance would be more than difficult for Vitali.

Also, with Tyson speed & head movement I doubt Vitali would land many of his punches. Just remember that Chisora had enough to make it competitive (ok, this was not prime Vitali, but neither Chisora was anywhere close to Tyson).

Vittles is way to slow Tyson would get inside and eat him up before he had a chance to tie him up. Yes Vittles bigger only a bigger target. P4P, it is tyson all day. (and hell I never ever liked tyson . . . Vittles fans get your heads out of your arses!

I think Tyson would give Vitali all he could handle in the first half of the fight but Vitali has the durability to survive and I think he'd pull away in the second half of the fight to win a close decision.

I give Vitali a better chance than clinchko but still voted for Tyson who has Vitali faced his entire career close to Tyson to judge except the Lewis fight where he got beat up

Tyson struggled against fighters with good chins, along with tall guys. Vitali either stops him late or wins a decision.
