If Vitali wants to go inside, Nikolai would meet him punch for punch, and Klitschko was faster, stronger, a lot better foundamentall, tougher and member and simply a better fighter.
Vitali can also outbox him if he wanted to

Really the only question is would Valuev be able to stay upright.
The odds are very good that he could.
Then the question is would he absorb too much punishment & the referee stop the fight.

That could well be. But if it got too one sided-& with a fairly high volume puncher like Vitali it is more likely-it likely would have been stopped.

 

Interesting to think of- On a side note if Valuev fights anyone with suspect stamina and an aggressive streak he wins by default IMO. Nikolia is to durable with great stamina and enough fundamentals to get the job done with his own decent power and ungodly strength. I have him beating GF in a huge upset. I think he beats people like Ruddock, Tommy ect. Just based on being a 7ft 150kg walking talking rope-a-dope aha.
