If he gets Vitali's sloppy seconds (especially if Vitali wins by stoppage) Wlad will get no credit for beating Valuev. None.

I would love to see that fight. Before Klitschko was ever even scheduled to fight Arreola, I said "the two fights I would like to see Vitali in, would be against Valuev and Arreola". I wanted to see Klitschko-Arreola because I thought it would be a good style match-up, which it was. Well, Arreola already happened and I hope to see the Valuev fight happen. I would pick Klitschko by clear decision. It would be interesting to see Vitali in with someone taller than him. Not only taller, but a lot taller.

Yeah, he really softened him up with ONE hard punch in the 12th ...

Kevin Johnson has very good defensive skills, for that reason Johnson should do much more than he did. He is definitely the reason the fight was so boring.....

I think Vitali will KO him. Valuev is too slow, and doesn't have the power to drop Vitali.

Its going to be target practice for 6 rounds till the big guy falls.

    You're really flattering Haye.

If Manny Pacquiao got a good square shot off on the bullseye on somebody even Valuev's size, he'd have them staggered for a moment.

A flush power punch from a human being trained how to punch properly alawys has a chance to put another human being on ***** St.

Let's withhold assumptions that Haye rocked Valuev's world with a single blow until the guy starts slurring his speech, eh?

Well, to be correct, he was running -and- potshotting him at least two times a round. If that isn't great, what is ?

Actually, I think if Valuev gets all physical, he would put Vitali into problems, at least for some rounds.

BTW, Kevin Johnson was basically the heavyweight Floyd Mayweather in this fight, just without punching back. You can impossibly look good against it, when the guy also has good reflexes. KJ resorted to eat left hands for popcorn through the fight just to avoid the right hand, knowing that Klitschko does not have big power in his left due to his shoulder and spine injury. The left is a range finder and opener for the right, KJ understood this, and avoided the right at all costs sacrificing to the left hand landing, and not trying to counter. Result, a stinker.

Vitali WAS a powerpuncher, now he is a highly accurate volume puncher with good defense and tactics. A volume puncher can't do anything against a negative defense tactitian who just bends low when you set up for your combination. You can only reach his back of the head, and, that is not legal.

I don't even rate KJs skill low in that fight, he has shown VERY good defense basics there, a textbook for someone to learn how to not allow opportunities to hit you flush, or big. He just didn't try to mount an offense for fear of getting countered, that made it unbearable to watch. A defense tactitian putting on a defense show, result, no punches landing other than the range finder left jab. You can't be the big guy in the ring AND the fast guy at the same time. With 6'8" and 250lb, you are not going to be faster than your opponent at 30lb less.

I guess Barrett softened him up for haye the right because Barrett stunned him long before haye... You know how stupid it is to say a punch which couldn't even knock him off his feet took years off of his career? Man with every fighter who has ever been buzzed or knocked down by a flash knockdown im glad to know it took years off their career.

This fight sucks. And it ain't because of Vitali.
