Yeah sure alot of money to be missing out on but why would he want to face Vitaly before Haye? sounds very risky to me. He would stand a much better chance against Haye he must know this, idk we'll see what happens... :think
Well I think it's down to Valuev's handlers and not so much Nico himself. Valuev has claimed he wanted to face a Klitschko for quite a while, but his management wouldn't let him anywhere near one while he had a belt. If he faces Haye again first, it's by rematch clause and won't generate big numbers, just like the 1st fight. He won't make much, and will likely lose to Haye again anyway. Also he would have to wait for Ruiz/Haye to be done, and hope Haye doesn't injure himself again and sit on the belt 6 more months. In that time Nico is making no money. Plus after losing a 2nd time to Haye, he wouldn't be able to score a big money fight with Vitali afterwards. Financially I think it's better for Valuev to face Klitschko for 3-4 million or whatever his handlers agree to, lose most likely, then cash in his rematch and retire. Valuev is slowing down too much to go on, plus he's been exposed as being completely unable to handle a fighter that isn't stationary in front of him. At this point, he won't learn how to adapt and handle movement. Also Sauerland/DK isn't going to buy him a belt again. But yeah, we'll see what pans out. VK needs to get something signed soon though.
So you don't think Vitali will throw more than 13 punches per round? He threw 85 per round in his last fight.
Nothing to do with Vitali. Valuyev is not exactly exciting and he's not going to win. I'll watch it but wouldn't pay.
i don't see the point of this fight happening. what's the point of vitali fighting someone that david haye beat in his only third heavyweight fight? not exactly going to send shockwaves is it?
Valuevs only strength is size , its the only reason haye fought the way he did, and while Valuev is still a bit bigger than Vitali , VK is close enough to Valuev in size to take Valuevs one advantage away. put it this way if Valuev was only 6 foot 4 he'd be **** one sided fight IMO
you mean apart from unifying the cruiserweight titles, and then winning a heavyweight title in only his 3rd fight at the weight?
