This is the fight to be made, now.

I just hope the politics of don't ruin it, as it would be a great fight, as well as unifying two major titles.

Klitschko on points is my call.

I cant see him stopping Valuev, unless its from an accumilation of shots.

    Klitschkos target Valuev!

"We have one more dream," says newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko taking direct aim at seven-foot WBA champion Nikolai Valuev. "We have one more belt not in the Klitschko family." Before either Vitali or brother Wladimir (who holds the IBF/WBO/IBO belts) can face Valuev, however, there are still mandatory defenses owed by all three. Vitali must next face mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Gomez, Wladimir must face mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin, and Valuev must face champion in recess Ruslan Chagaev, although he is permitted an interim voluntary defense in December.

If Valuev don't accept a Klitschko fight after he fights Meehan (or whomever his upcoming fight is), ( he's then apparently due a voluntary defense before he has to fight Chagaev again (Zzzzz)). I doubt it'll ever happen.

After Valuev fights Meehan, and Vitali gets rid of his mandatory Gomez (assuming Vitali fights on and don't retire, now), the small window of opportunity for putting together Vitali - Valuev will be right then.

Valuev has no interest in fighting the klitschkos. He would get the beating of his life from either and he's prefectly content on milking his paper title for all it's worth til he gets exposed yet again.

Someone else posted that VItali asked the WBC if he could have a bit more time to face Gomez, so he could apparently fight Valuev, first.

Anyone else read this or have a link?
