Vitali Klitschko would win this one at the staredown. 1996 Golota was a damn good Heavyweight awesome jab, good Chin, he was just mentally fragile which is not a good thing to be against Vitali Klitschko. I remember watching the first Golota Bowe fight live on HBO and wondering who in the hell that big Polish guy was he had very good skills for his size at the time.
VK by death. Golota was a skilled fighter with a big punch, but he would fall apart against someone like Vitaly, like he did in every of his big fights.
That may be replica of Golota-Bowe, Vitaly is too strong and have good survival skills so the "prime" Golota would easily be frustrated and loose by DQ. If you however put the mature Golota 's brain into the prime Golota body then I would favor Golota in this.
Sorry but NO. There is absolutely no comparisons to be made between VK and Riddick Bowe. Bowe was, by FAR, the better fighter. Golata was handing Bowe his ass before falling apart mentally in those fights - and walked through hell in the process. No WAY in all of hell does VK offer up the kind of resistance necessary to make an in-his-prime Golata melt down mentally. Not gonna happen. I like Golata by BRUTAL KO early to mid rounds...
WHAT!!?? Bowe wasn't ever near the level of V. Klit. Klit beats Golata and Bowe with all three of them in the ring. Golata was never that good. He just looked good against an average HW in Bowe.
Vitali would win by DQ, to big and to strong, and he was to mentally strong for Golata, Andrew would quit, or get dq'd by slamming VK in his nutsack..
