Considering OP mentioned that both gotta be in their primes, then no, not the same guy Golota beat up.

Who has the better chance, Wlad or Vits? Yes Bowe can fight on the inside, Wlad's kryptonite, but if Golota's jab dominated Bowe then surely Wlad's could do some damage. Bowe was tough though, even the faded version just wouldn't stay down against Golota. It would be a tough fight for Vits, Bowe could probably out-jab him and his uppercuts could be a nightmare. What's Vits best weapon, a counter right straight\hook? How's he gonna land that against Bowe? Vitali-Bowe would be a war no doubt, there's no quit in either dude (barring injury for Vitali of course...)

I think it would be a good fight, a competitive fight. I have no idea who wins though, because I personally could make a case for both...

 

we aren't talking about whethern they would fight, ie bravery. No one can question young Vitalis bravery. vitali was at one point a very brave courageous fighter (though he has faded into hiding now of course) and was braver than Bowe by a field acre.


but ability is another matter. Joe Calzaghe was **** scared of Jeff Lacy and tried to run away from the fight, but in the end he was much better than him.

 

yeah but we'll never know if bowe was at lewis' level. The best he beat was holyfield with whom he went life and death and who in my opinion was a level below lewis (at least in h2h stakes). I agree though that bowe's ability isn't the main factor. I think his laziness and overall inconsistent nature would lead to his downfall, who's to say he even shows up in shape?

on another note, has the calzaghe thing ever been verified?

 

I met Bowe before and all he did was drink a 2 litre bottle of coke and wipe sweat from his brow.

Klit is a consumate pro so Is more likely to turn up . Although I think Bowe is a big waste of space he could have been amazing just liked cake too much. He had potential to be great

 

That's the same way I see it. Both were talented fighters but Klitschko's self discipline and consistency make me think VK would win. Bowe, you just never knew exactly who was going to show up. I think it would be probable that Bowe wouldn't train seriously enough and pay for it later.
