Vitali has never been KO'd, and Peter couldn't KO the supposedly "egg-chinned" Wlad. What makes you think Peter could possibly KO Vitali? :verysad
This answer is coming from a guy with a Samil Sinan Sam avatar......................... Why is that funny to me? Because SSS really sucks.
At this point Peter.....Long lay off inactivity and Peter's improvements and agression will prove too much if this fight for Vitaly.... 2004-Vitaly takes it but I'm under the impression that Vitaly unfortunately has seen his best days....Its not so much he's shot but its more a case where unless proven wrong I dont think he's at 100% even with his rest.
I Just wish Vitali doesnt fall victim as he did with Lewis. Vitali is a good boxer and i just hope that the fight will not be closed early just because of those bull**** cuts caused by Head Crashes. Samuel is good also but this time i bet on Vitali.
If Vitaly even near the form he was before he retired, he wipes the floor with Sam, otherwise anything is possible. I think after the McCline fight everybody could make a better assesment.
I'm going to assume Vitali is close to what he was cause vit is no fool and wouldn't come back otherwise. Peter Strengths: Power, chin, heart, determination, youth Weaknesses: Inconsistent conditioning and stamina, foot movement, technique, ring intelligence, lacks consistent jab, plodding Vitali: Strengths: Power, chin, heart, determination, conditioning, ring intelligence, jab, good combinations Weaknesses: Injury-prone, lacks hand and foot speed, robotic, age, tested late stamina IMO, Vit has all the same positives as Peter, aside from youth, but his solid skills and especially his ring intelligence give him the huge advantage. Vitali doesn't get enough credit for how smart he fights. I think this fight would look like the Sanders-Vitali. Peter will come charging in and might have his early moments, but Vitali's chin and intelligence will help him survive. As the fight progresses, I see Vit letting Sam come to him and just hammering him with jabs and combinations. Then, by the middle rounds Vitali turns the tables and chases Peter down and probably stops him very late (11 or 12) or wins a lopsided UD.
absolutely correct, when i watch vitaly fight noticed that he can almost sense big shots coming, and gets out of the way. or throws first, and all peter throws is big looping shots, peters is gonna have to be much faster than he has ever been to beet vitaly, vitaly ko5-7
I agree. I think Wlad fought Peter too cautiously. Vitali would exchange more, and Peter would get punished.
vitali has this kind of aura around him: he doesn't even think about a possible loss, he is super-confident and determined. look at his eyes at the staredown... he has got a great anticipation and ring intelligence, and a great chin, so when watching vitali you don't have to be worried. the only weakness is that he is prone to injuries, even more at his advanced age. but he could have another good 2-3 years.
