Name me one opponent that Vatali defeated who was even near Liston's level (nor Listons best few opponents). Vitali got torn to shreds by the best fighter he ever faced in Lewis, I just can't see him beating Liston at his best, no way, though he might fare alright for a couple of rounds. Liston doesn't need to go looking for him, but whenever he gets in close quarters there'll be fireworks. Vitali is bigger and taller? so what, Liston is just as strong, plus his reach and weaponary will be too much for Vitali to overcome in the long run.
So Danny Williams can last 8 rounds with Vitali but Lison gets blown out early? Vitali has a 0% KO average against the two best fighters he fought, Byrd and Lewis. If someone wants to make a case for Vitali winning, and fair enough, don't just throw out numbers as if that's the be-all and end-all...
you can throw that percentage **** out the window,its got more to do with whom you've fought.and liston fought better fighters hands down
