There will be at least twenty more of these Vitaly vs Adamek Poles (pun intended) before the fight actually happens. If the unthinkable happens and Haye defeats Wlad, then Vitaly goes for Haye and Adamek is out in the cold.
Haye should fight Adamek before any of the klitchkos...Adamek is no bum just too small for Vitali...he may be able to pull it off though...i think Haye could take Vitali...not Wlad tho
plenty but still he is not as good as VK and he does not have much power. Last fight Adamek was about 216lb and Vitali about 250.
Correct, and Vitali is 6'-8" so he should weigh 250. Vitali is clever and athletic. Tomasz will have to be very smart and crafty.
Wow, didn't know Adamek was overrated. Unless Vitali somehow ages overnight... otherwise I wouldn't give Adamek more than a 10% chance.
That would mean they would break a contract and would have to pay a price. As long as Adamek wins his next fight, Vitali or Wlad are contractually obligated to face him. They also have all the financial incentive to do so. Should Haye win, he will either get a rematch or will have to wait a little while for the other brother. Besides, isn't Haye retiring anyways?
Haye was already breaking both former negotiations with Klits because they forced him to face the other brother in case he defeats the first one ... so it sound almost impossible to arrange fight with Vitaly right after fight with Wlad. Finally, the June fight with Wlad is not closer by any means that Haye-Wlad fight in 2009 or Haye-Vitaly after that.
Adameks skills are overrated despite that I like watching him fight and appreciate his heart and willingness to fight. I can't see it ending any other way than Vitali stopping him late. Adamek is going to get hit, and hit a lot. He doesn't have that great punch resistance at heavy, or the skills to not get hit, or the power to give Vitali something to think about. I expect it to be a spirited fight but he is getting KO'ed.
your post is just stupid ... he was champion in two divisions, he beat almost everybody except Dawson when he couldn't make the weight anymore then he is 6:0 at HW and he beat up top contender in Arreola and a mix of other known names ... and you are saying that his skills are overrated? Its like saying that Mayweather's skills are overrated because most probably he would be stretched by Robinson or Durran atsch what the heck have skills to do with H2H comparison when two boxers have similar skills but there is size difference as well? "..........s skills are overrated despite that I like watching him fight and appreciate his heart and willingness to fight." ..... this award would go to Gatti in my opinion.
and now let's be realistic. adamek is faster then vitali, has a big heart, a very good chin, and iron will. vitali is taller, more reach, way stronger, way more power, better ring iq, more experience. he is only slower. the problem with adamek is, that vitali won't be cautious, because he knows that adamek can't hurt him. vitali will open up and try to cut the ring and get adamek in a corner and tko him with a couple of powerfull shots. adamek will run a lot and try to flurry him, he will have no success, because his reach is way to short and he will get countered every time by vitali. vitali will lean back and counter at the same time. adamek can make it to the end of the fight but i think he will get tko in the 8th or 9th round. adamek is a very good and smart fighter but his bad luck is, that the two champs are ****ing tall, athletic, way to powerful and experienced, and very skillful. and to our polish users, i understand that you all support adamek and hope for the upset, but be realistic, in no world is adamek able to outpoint vitali.
