Vitali TKO. Adamek doesn't really have any attributes that are any advantage for him in this fight. If he had more power, he might have a chance. Vitali isn't slow, that some people suggest. He isn't going to be able to out box Ironfist with his hand speed...
Will Vitali's height and reach outweigh Adamek's speed advantage? Both fighters are skilled and experienced. Vitali and Wlad always fight cautious.
Its otherwise. He is a 2-time champion and proven contender in the HW division. I think the same. I know that Adamek has the ability to win it. However one mistake in the fight may finish it.
Nice comparison. However I would question Vitali's ring IQ advantage. Adamek is one of the smartest boxers around. Sometimes being bigger make you weaker. Its Adamek only chance to win. He needs to fight in a way to trouble Vitali at most. Being slick, mobile and fast is the key to do it. Adamek is fast and mobile, no doubt. Can he learn to be slick?
I voted Vitali by Decision over the sturdy chinned Adamek. Tomasz will will a couple of rounds and make it interesting though............
Adamek is #4, Vitali #2, Wlad #1.... how is this a "bull**** fight"? IMO Both Klitschkos are to much for Adamek... but bull**** fight?....no
Are you saying you would pick Toney over Vitali? Toney is phenomenally talented but he had no chance against Vitali at any point in his career.
the thing with adamek is that he hasn't fought a very skillfull, tall, experienced, akward, cold blooded and METODICAL soviet machine. vitali is very experienced fighting smaller faster guys. he knows the style. so it won't be difficult for him to adapt. vitali has very high ring iq, he has a **** trainer for 15 years and is a great champion and has every time a great gameplan, because he can adapt to his opponents. i can't say that about adamek, not at the same level as vitali
Adamek has chance, Vitali oppentents since his come back are either slow or had no balls Johnson. Adamek is quicker than Johnson, has more brains, does not just run away but comes in and out at heavyweight. It is speed which will beat Vitali not size or power unless we unearth a 6'7 foreman. Thing is Adamek got caught to much by Grant. He was never an elusive fighter until heavyweight. I do not think he is quick enough or elusive enough to avoid Vitali's punches he will do a lot better job than Peter, Briggs or Snowoski. Johnson we do not know if he can fight, we know he can run but this is boxing. Haye is more elusive, quicker and has way more power. I am not sure Haye has Adamek stamina or chin though. If Adamek has any success it would bode good for Haye. It is a shame about the Solis fight, that would have been a good one but for the knee problem.
Vitali is a very good boxer, born fighter. He has that fighting instinct that his brother doesnt possess. The same kind of fighter is Adamek. When Vitali knows how to use his advantage (height, stamina and power) perfectly, Adamek always finds a way to beat bigger, better skilled or more powerful fighter. I agree that Vitali has very high ring IQ, but I wouldnt say that Adamek is worse in that area. This is how I would describe Adamek
Im probably in the minority of people who believe Adamek will beat Vitali by UD/SD at this point. Vitali looks about as athletic as an Oak tree at this point in time.
