It's close ... 50/50 from what I see ... Tuckers movement may give him the advantage and Tucker also had excellent conditioning back then in '87

And he looked 6'4"-6'5" in his peak to whomever questioned his height ... Vitali had about 2 inches of height on him and their reach is probably the same ...

If I had to pick I'll say Tucker via SD or on cuts ...

Really? I do not think Vitali beat anybody as good as 87 Tucker. IMO that version of Tucker would probably have beaten the faded version of Lewis and Chris Byrd, the two men which defeated Vitali

 

Vitali is 1-1 against shws.
One being Timmo Hoffman who is Tom Swartz level.
Vitali was more consistent but Prime Tucker was a level above in terms of pure skill.
He'd use his reach advantage to outbox Vitali similar to how Cooney was outboxed by Holmes

 

I'd have to favor the Klit by decision.
